Koolpak KoolKids Instant Cold Ice Packs - Single Pack

These are great little cool packs, can't complain.Great value for money, and very effective.As some others have said, it is difficult to get the inner bag to burst and trigger the reaction that creates the coldness. Twisting just doesn't seem to work for me. I wouldn't stamp on it like one person said though - just squash it with your foot, that should do it.The instructions say wrap the cool pack in a cloth, but I just don't see that working myself. So I'm unsure about that bit. I just applied it straight onto the skin - the pack says you can get a freeze burn from that. So, I'm confused about that bit.

This is my second purchase of this product. I think it is great value for money and also really handy to have in your first aid kit.

Great size ice packs for our first aid kits... the card board box packing let you down as I had to open with Sharp object to get through sellotape packing and sliced one open so I've already wasted one.You should re-think your packing or put a warning on the box.

I bought the koolpak(Kids Ice Pack)I put it in my car. Today I need to use it as my little one bumped his head and it did not work.I contact Miller Medical Supplies and they told me that it could have activate it self in transport. I will not buy for this company again. They did not seem intrest in my feedback at all.

You only get one pack! Good product, but at £4 each not worth it. There are cheaper versions available which are just as good

Bought one of these a few months back because it was small (which it is, would fit in a descent sized pocket) and would fit in my bag of bits I keep when out with my 3 year old (I like to be preppered). It's been in there ever since.Yesterday I had to use it. He ran and fell head first into his buggy with the bridge of his nose meeting the edge of the footrest on his buggy. Ouch right! I got the ice pack out, squeezed, it popped and a few shakes it was ice cold. I put it on his not so little bump and although he wasn't happy about it it certainly helped. Probably lasted about 10 mins in total but it is only small. Did the job though and because it's now tried and tested I'm going to buy a few more!
