Great for building confidence
Love these instead of arm bands. Don't get in the way and are also great for kids who can swim but want to snorkle or use their goggles further out at sea

The SwimFin looks cool, it turns heads at the pool, it makes learning to swim fun which is the most important aspect!!!
I ordered this product quite a few years ago as I was immediately drawn to the design from both a fun aspect and practical function. As a swimming teacher I fully understand the need for added bouncy when learning to swim. The product completely fulfils the selling pitch. Ultimate swimming aid, worn on the back leaving arms and legs free, makes learning to swim process quicker and easier• Promotes a natural swimming position, works across all 4 main swim strokes, boosts confidence and motivation• Fully tested to international standards, 3 things in 1: teaching aid, flotation device, fun toyThe Velcro straps are fully adjustable and strong enough to withstand the most athletic child and give a feeling of being secure. The Fin is made of a soft, strong and durable plastic that will last a long time, mine is over two years old, been used numerous times and still looks good. The Swim Fin supports the child but will not keep them afloat so is only an aid for a child in the process of learning to swim. The SwimFin looks cool, it turns heads at the pool, it makes learning to swim fun which is the most important aspect. This product was the actual turning point that got my Autistic boy in the pool after many failed previous attempts.I can highly recommend the SwimFin as it achieves its goal in every aspect, 5 Stars from me

Great swim fin
Great item, just like the ones they use at child's swimming lessons. Great for developing swimmers to gain confidence in water.

Definitely better than arm bands
Love this. Which I knew about it sooner for my older son. Helps my son swim so much better

Fab swim aid
SwimFin is great - like the fact the arms are free for learning the strokes and the front of the body is not weighed down as per other torso floatation aids. Its good that there are different levels to attach, depending on swimmers ability. We have used the fins consistently for our kids abroad and at home. They are easy to put on and take off, plus the kids love pretending to be sharks in the water too , unlike arm bands which seem to impede their play. My only complaint is sometimes the upper strap rubs under the arms and causes red marks.

Bright Pink Fin - Bringer of confidence!
This is a great idea and a very useful aid to teaching a child to swim as well as giving confidence in the water. My daughter hates arm bands and doesn't like using float boards, so having read other reviews of this, I decided to get one as we're off on holiday soon and I want to be able to enjoy the pool with my daughter as much as possible. We took it to our local pool yesterday for a trial run and it was a resounding success! My daughter loves the look of it (well, it IS pink, after all) and was delighted to put it on.It works well and my daughter was soon trying to get her legs up behind her to kick. By the end of our hour or so in the water she was far more confident than at any other time.Where it loses a point is down to the fin not staying in place when my daughter was on her back in the water. The fin was moving on her back as if trying to work its way to the front and this lack of stability didn't really give me the confidence to continue with that exercise. Perhaps the straps could have been tightened some more, but the point of the session yesterday was to get comfortable with the fin, which we did achieve.Things my daughter did yesterday, I believe as a direct result of the fin, included attempting some strokes, putting her face in the water (a huge deal for her) and eventually even putting her whole head under the water. She's delighted with herself, I'm delighted for her.I just hope it doesn't

Dur Da, Dur da, dur da, da da, dur da...
We had one a pink one for my little girl years ago & now it's our little boys turn. They are the talk of the pool especially on holidays. So much fun. Although some advice, buy a rash vest to wear with it, the straps can rub under the arm pits. Whilst they take some getting used to, the childs arms are free so they learn to swim properly. They have to use there body more as it only helps them to float, but great fun.

This item is brilliant!!
I couldn't believe it when I saw my 2.5 year old swim 2 widths on his own the first time he had one on. We used one at his swimming class and decided to buy one for our holiday, he is very confident in the water but 'inflatable' buoyancy aids hinder his movement, his swimming action is so much better with this as his position in the water is correct. He is not afraid to put his face in the water as he swims underwater anyway but I can imagine using this from a young age will get children used to having their face nearer the water when swimming and not 'out' of the water as is the case with arm bands & jackets as they are held vertical in the water. All in all a great and highly reccomended product, the Orange is a great colour choice!!Update: We had so many people asking about it on holiday I ended up selling it to someone as they could not buy one, hense I bought another one when I got home. My son only took it off for eating & going to bed - great product!
