Firstly I would like to say that I do not take any illegal drugs and the reason for me getting this kit is because, following as serious RTA, I’m on quite a lot of medication, including some strong painkillers. I do still drive in-between those and wanted to check if they would still be in my system having not taken them for a few hours.This is a quite advanced kit and so it the literature that come with it, although doing the test itself is straightforward enough, and I’m not a healthcare professional.This kit consists of the instructions and a sealed kit. With the kit is an advanced test strip, a bit like the COVID one, but with 6 windows. About each windows is a descriptor, which identifies what each window is testing for. On the bottom are 6 feet (that’s what I’m calling them) that you dip into your using for 5sec. Unfortunately, you do not get anything in the kit to put your urine in. So, if like me, you’ll have to find something sterile at home to use.After dipping the feet in your urine, you pop the plastic cover back over the feet (forgot to mention that but) and wait for 5min.If you get two red lines, one in C & one in T, in a window, then it’s Negative. Just one in the lower part (T), means Invalid. A single line in the upper part (C) is a Positive result. The tester is double-sided.For me, all of mine were negative apart from the “OPI” one on the far right and on the other side, “TCA”. This would be inline with my medication.As I said, I’m no healthcare professional and trying to understand these results is technical, other than what the windows shows and there’s a lot of technical information in the instruction booklet. For someone who is on prescription medication, this could be a useful guide to understanding how long it stays in your system but this kit is more designed for healthcare professionals.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. These five drug test dip cards arrive in a resealable baggie and each test is sealed in a foil packet. The tests are designed to detect 12 illegal substances from a sample of urine. The procedure is quite simple as you just pull off the bottom cover, which reveals the bottom strips, and you dip them into a urine sample for 10-15 seconds, replace the bottom and lay the test on a flat surface and read the results in 5 minutes. If there is two lines, then that is a negative result. One line is a positive result and will indicate on the strip corresponding with the drug detected. There is a cut off point though so you can have a light bit of the drug in the urine, and it won’t be detected. This is a really easy drug test which gives you the result in five minutes. The hardest part is finding a wide enough vessel for the urine sample so you can dip the tip of the test strips into it as they are 4.6cm wide. A clean glass or cup will suffice but it does have to be clean so as not to contaminate the test. Buying this five pack gives a significant saving over buying a single test as the five pack works out at £2.99 each..

This kit is very simple to use and read. It's a quick test which is mess free. I like that it has a cap that you can remove and the whole test itself works as a good hand hold to allow it to be dipped without making a mess. And then put the cap back on for handing the test back over to medical staff.It only takes 15 seconds for enough urine to be absorbed for the test work. And then over the next few minutes the lines will populate the rest to give a reading. Lines come through quicker than five minutes though.In my tests I recieved a negative reading each time, which is what I was expecting. No false negatives.The test is accompanied with comprehensive instructions. These are written with perfect English language clarity, they're simple to read and understand.The test results come back with each strip being below the test name so it's very easy to read.I'd get this se again.It's worth noting that these tests need to be kept above 4°c. So maybe do not leave them in the car in the winter if you're a travelling medical provider.
