Ignore the people saying it got rusty and spots appeared. This is a great sizzler pan, as long as you know how to care for cast iron. Use some oil to season it as soon as you get it and before using. Although they claim it is pre-season it doesn't look like it. Needs to look closer to black after seasoning. It was a greyish colour when it arrived.Obviously if you wash an unseasoned cast iron pan and leave it to dry like the usual pan it will rust. Also even after seasoning it is recommended that you dry it right away and not let it drip dry.To season the pan, 1h at 200°C in the oven should do it, afterwards let it cool inside the oven completely.Do the first season by rubbing all over the pan with oil and place it upside down on the oven rack. You can place something underneath just in case some oil drips. But that shouldn't happen as you are looking to do a thin coating of oil. You can season the inside one more time the day after if you want.The more protection the better and it'll be more non stick the more seasoning coats you do as the surface will become smoother. I cook some great steaks on it. Cast iron just gives a different taste to food that can't be achieved with regular cookware.

Decent heavyweight cast iron plate. No problems at all. Fits my needs. The delivery from Amazon however was dreadful. They delivered it half way up the street! Luckily, they brought it over. Amazon delivery system is getting so bad. The item of the iron plate is fine. They were a few surface marks on it, which is never ideal, but cast iron is never that smoothly made. A good strong place though. At a good price!

Heats up very quickly on the hob, Stays hot for a long time. Easy to clean. Make sure you rub with olive oil to stop from rusting. Bought for my father as it takes him longer to eat and he can't stand cold food. This keeps the food hot and is easier than heating a normal plate. Very good

Bought this for serving Fajitas, is a great size as it can feed up to 5 people. Once heated up it retains the heat well and sizzles for a great entrance. We use this product weekly and love its heavy weight and simplistic finish.

Plate fits well and It is very sturdy but it rust so easily. I wipe it clean right after use to avoid rusting.
