Billy the Artist Neoprene E-Reader Pouch

This is so cool. It's exactly like the picture with stronger color. My cased Fire 7" tablet fits in it perfectly and is easy to get in and out. You could probably slip in a thin wallet, or even a mouse, because there's a bit of wiggle room and the fabric is stretchy. It doesn't feel or look cheap or fragile at all. It isn't lined, so inside and out is made of the same soft, spongey, wet suit type of fabric called neopryne. It's very smooth and nice to touch. In this small size, it may offer some drop protection just being the type of material it is. The metal zipper is a nice touch, being a double, and it works seamlessly. No pockets. I think an optional carry or shoulder strap would make this even better.So why not a 5 star? Well, because there's no 4.5 and because of "Billy the Artist", the Keith Haring knock-off dude. The case comes with 2 nice card-stock tags extolling this "global phenomena" and "NYC street artist" as if you'd know him if you only had a hipper address. His, if there is even a real person behind this, is in Itasca, IL, should you want to write. ;) This ramble is probably irrelevant but "Billy" rubs me the wrong way, a lot, because I live in NYC and went to Art Skool with Haring. Yeah, so I wish they went with something more original.Meanwhile, neopryne is for me!I got this at a significant discount for my inspection and this review.
