Certo Apple Pectin Extract
Great purchase. This item is better than the powdered pectin. You just add Certo to your jam (that needs pectin such as Strawberry) and it sets no problem. I find the powder can go lumpy so I will be buying Certo again. I would recommend it to anyone who makes homemade jam.

Very disappointed and will return to the power version of pectin
I have always used the powdered product in small sachets but thought I would try this as an alternative. I wish I hadn't, very expensive pro rata and the amount required is more than the powdered alternative. So much so I used all my order of six bottles and the jam still has not set. Very disappointed and will return to the power version of pectin.

Been using this for years
Not stocked in local shops anymore so happy to find it on Amazon.Been using it since discovered in the USA in1962.Great results and better quantity of jams and jellies when used.

Disappointing
Not sure if the recipe has changed but Certo just doesn't seem to work well any longer. Last two batches of jam were far runner than they should have been. Disappointed so can't recommend.
