Works for me
The perfect way to bring my lovely old vivitar 283s out of retirement at the back of the cupboard. The problem is digital camera circuitry is fried by the surprisingly high trigger voltages of many old flashguns, so connecting them up by pc cord or hotshoe will kill the camera :-(Using this as the intermediary between camera hotshoe and flashgun(s) (with the flash on a bracket) works perfectly for me on a Lumix FZ200, a Canon Powershot SX and even my lovely old 35mm Nikons (which can cope with the trigger voltage anyway, but who knows when I'll want off camera flash ... ) I don't need to have the flash far from the camera so cannot comment on the range beyond the 2 to 5m indoors I tried when testingWill they work on your camera ? If it has a pc socket or a hotshoe, very probably. Will it work with your flashgun ? Read the product description for specific flash types which are excluded, if yours isn't on the list and it has a hotshoe or standard pc cord you are probably OK, at this price you aren't risking much to find out ! My 283s need to be used via the pc cord as mentioned. Two final thoughts: first, remember you will have to work out the exposure for yourself , the camera will only do that for you if you use a dedicated flash specifically made for it and connected directly to it. Manual setting of the camera aperture will be required, time to read the manuals and brush up your maths skills.Second - initially I thought that this didn't work with the Lumix, then I realised I had the inbuilt flash turned off . Turned it to 'on' in the menu (without actually popping the built in flash to the up position) and the triggers worked fine. I guess the triggering circuit to the hotshoe is only on when you enable flash ! Doh !

well worth the money
i dont know if it was needed but i bought an energizer battery whilst purchasing this to replace the cheap supplied battery. easy to change with a glasses screwdriver. never had any fault with it. works up to around the 1/250 mark. well worth the money. only issue i have is its easy to forget to turn both units off after a session with them

Cheap triggers
I use this triggers with my studio heads and a speedlite. I've noticed a tendency for flashes not to trigger very rarely, but I am 90% sure this is due to the lights recycling/cooling down, and not a design issue.

Cheap but effective
Probably the best I've used in a long while alot cheaper than pocket Wizards and great for beginners and those new to off camera flash triggering systems.

Perfrect for the price!
I do not have anything bad to say about these, they do the job perfectly. On touch the devices don't feel like the most expensive transmitters ever, plastic feels thinner than some more expensive ones but for this price you can't expect anything better. Overall great product, really simple to set up and have never failed me!

Great Product & Design
Works a treat on my Canon 550d and Canon speedlite 430exII. If your unsure how to set this up on your camera don't worry there is loads of help out there on the Web. like Youtube for videos. This is easy to set up. It's nearly a plug & play
