Great
I'm no expert on these things and I suppose considering the price range of £8 to over £200 there has to be some really technical aspect to them.I bought this as my kids are on a sailing course and I can watch them in the middle of the lake. It is absolutely perfect for what I need. The image is nice and clear, its lightweight and feels quite robust. It also comes with a little carry pouch, lanyard and cleaning cloth. For the price, it was definitely worth the purchase.

Cheap and passable.
It doesn't quite focus perfectly but it does magnify well and present a reasonably stable image. For the price, I wouldn't expect more. The action is precise and it comes with a cover. It will fit in a pocket or on a belt.

Take note of the price £11.99p
Because of my level of vision I have used monoculars for probably 35 years. They usually have been supplied by the NHS and the ones I use would probably cost around £120 so I was interested to find out how well this item would perform against what I am used too!The monoculars I am used to how a power of 8x this one is 16x, thats like using a 800mm lense on a 35mm dslr I have a 600mm lense for my camera and the monocular is nowhere near as powerful as that, infact it is not as powerful as my 8x monoculars. There seems to be some confusion on Amazon with descriptions of monoculars 8x20 used to mean it was 8x magnficiation with a 20mm front optic. They are often described now as 30 x50 and then we get told they are a 7x mangnification! That is confusing. This monocular is clearly not 8xWhat does the day night coment mean on it?? I think that is there just to make you think it will work well in low light, well yes perhaps it will because the front optic is quite large and will let in a reasonable amount of light! The construction. Actually that isn't bad its reasonably sturdy. Watch comments please about seeing lines inside the monucalar. This can happen, but as a seasoned user of monocualrs I can tell you that might just be an eye lash that reflects in the prism. Is it a toy, I noticed somebody descbire it as that. Well no. It works, it is a monocular, it is not a toy.Fortunately monoculars don't need much understanding, you look through the end with the rubber eyepiece and point the other end at what you want to look at and then focus the monocular. That really fortunate because if you try to work out what the instructions mean you will at least find yourself laughing quite loudly! So, my thoughts about this product. Does it remotely compare with the £120 monoculars I have used for years? Quite frankly no. Does it live up to its full description, I thank that is very unlikely. Is it value for money? Well once you discount all of the above then at a tenth of the cost of the monoculars I am used to it probably does represent good value for money. Just remember, you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear and you get what you pay for! If you want a really good quality monocular don't buy this one. If you want something just for occassional looking at birds in the garden then this one might well suit you.

Do not bother
I know it is cheap but the quality is so bad it is laughable. Lots of marks and scrapes all around the edge of the lens. If you so much as wobble it a tiny little bit you lose the image entirely and the chemical smell that comes off it is horrendous. Sent back within 5 minutes of receiving it.

Not that good but cheap
Nothing like 16 x magnification. View is clear and it’s handy for the pocket. IMO mag is about x4

Se ve bien. Además es luminoso y su enfoque es gradual. Si tienes mal pulso mejor tener un punto de apoyo. Perolo recomendo 100%.

Calidad pésima, no funciona.
