Beautiful!
It took 18 months but these foxgloves are well worth the wait. I planted them in little greenhouse containers in Spring 2021. By Autumn they were big enough to plant in outdoor garden beds. They lasted the winter and then really lept into action the following Spring, flowering in May and June (and still going). Beware, they are poisonous, so wash your hands any time you touch them and do not eat them (goes without saying with any plant I guess). The flowers on most of the plants are pink but some plants have yellow or white shades of flowers. They grow in nearly complete shade although they do best with dampled shade or an hour or two of sunlight per day. I believe that in the wild, foxgloves grow under trees in forrests so I planted accordingly. The ones which did best had 3 hours of sun a day although the ones in complete shade also flowered, although took longer to do so.

Great seeds that grow fast
I have never actually seen a fox wearing gloves but if I did I would be surprised if any vulpine creature could be sufficiently guileful to place one of these delicate digitalis blooms on their paw as they have claws that would probably tear through the delicate petals. These seeds arrived quickly and they grow fast. Very fast indeed. I planted them outside in a pot and within days I could see those little specs of green shoots (as Norman Lamont would say). The seeds are tiny and you get a lot of foxglove in a packet. None of this is very surprising really when you consider that this stuff grows in wild hedgerows up and down the country. Some say it is a weed but that is being unkind. Some also say it is poisonous, I do not know whether that is true but I would recommend handing with care just to be on the safe side. Maybe wear a pair of gloves. Like a fox would.

Great quality seeds
Bought these last year and being an amateur gardener didn't really know much about gardening. Sowed them last year and they have bloomed this year. Very happy with the outcome. I only used a few seeds and this year i sowed a few more and germinating is really good.

Nothing has grown yet. How long does it take?
Still no sign of life. Planted them as instructed, watered them, they are in great soil/compost. Not sure when there will be signs of life but nothing yet. I will keep you posted.
