PREMIER SEEDS DIRECT - Lupin - Russel Strain Mixed - 120 Flower Seeds

(July 2021)I am in newbie.The packet of seeds arrived with no pretense of appearance, in a silver pouch with a stuck-on label. I would have appreciated some sort of instructions of how to grow etc., though it was clear from the website that this would not be included. Nevertheless, a point of improvement for the seller to consider?Anyway, important information like the name of the seeds in the pouch, how many pieces, package and sown by date, and even the batch number were all clearly indicated. So that is good.Not wanting to waste a day, but not paying great attention to the soil etc., I planted 30 seeds, and saw may be 3 coming up with shoots this morning, 7 days after planting around July 10. I have to say I am excited, since I didn't know what to expect.So here forwards, I think I shall seriously buy some compost and put the seeds into a little pot, etc. to give them more chance, and loving care.Bottom line is, I think the seeds work! So I am happy!Update after another week:Those shoots that sprang from sandy soil seem to have their heads snipped off by . . . slugs? Anyway, I tried planting again in potting soil. I have to say, as a newbie, these sprout REALLY fast for me. 4 days, I think, and I see shoots! Great fun.If you are a newbie like me, I urge you to try :)This time, I updated my grading to say 5 stars, because they sprout!Second Update:I highly recommend this plant, because they produce palmate leaves with 5-10 leaflets. Even as flowers have not yet appeared, I think watching the lovely palmate leaves is a real joy.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!UPDATE March 2022My plants have survived the winter! I even just cut some right down the root to divide for more plants and it seems to work!No flowers yet but plants appear strong.Many aphids and much headache. I have given up on ever exterminating them. So I just flick them off with my finger every time I have a chance. May be less aphids is the best I can achieve.

On this occasion I ordered Lupins but I order all the seeds I need from this company and have done for some years now. I find them very reliable both in quality and cost plus they always arrive in good time. I have recommended Premier seeds to quite a few gardening friends - some who usually have received catalogues and have a ritual weekend planning and ordering weekend every year - they have been converted.

Not Impressed by the packaging, small foil envelope, no instructions, let's see if they come up

I planted these earlier this year and wasn't expecting them to flower at all this year but they have and look stunning!

Had these a few months now and most of what I planted as seeds come out. I thought id better write a review because they are so good. Iv got lupins every where .friends and family and been given so pla to as well. Because they are so good for bee's and wildlife. Can't wait for next to see then at there full. Iv got a few giving flowers but next year I'll have lots . So if you're wondering weather to get them I would they are easy to look after and like I have said very good for bee's
