Bought as a pressie. Very stylish design, lovely warm fleece lining, good size for my teenager - large, should be water resistant enough to throw a few snowballs.

These will definitely keep your hands warm. I stopped using them as my hands were sweating so much. They have a little zip pocket on them great for your ski pass but jut not breathable and actually became uncomfortable.
