Perfect for face down recovery
This pillow turned out to be the most useful piece of equipment in face down recovery after surgery. Even more so than the massage chair because I can sit In a comfortable chair, and use this at a variety of angles to achieve the proper face down position, while still be relatively comfortable. I could also use it in the car back-and-forth to the doctors office, Which was a huge help! The detachable blocks are genius which adds to its versatility. Being faced down all day, you’re going to need to change positions to remain comfortable. I was able to do that with the pillow, so not just for sleeping. in the beginning when I had the protector on, I use the open portion of the pillow which didn’t enclose my face as much and allowed for positioning, without interfering with the eyepatch cover. Overall a must have for vitrectomy recovery.

Works well with surgery recovery
I’ve had to have 2 eye surgeries in less than a month and I only found this right before the second. It has DEFINITELY helped neck pain and allowed me to lay face down for long periods of time. I even found a way to sleep! I woundnt recommend for stomache sleepers though, my low back starts to hurt after a while so I turn everything but my head to a side and it works great. It actually is comfy to use it as a side sleeper also. Little spendy but I knew I’d get the use out of it so worth it in my opinion.

Post Eye Surgery only works on a table
Post eye surgery face down. This does not work in bed. Only works on a table or desk. We used it while we waited for a professional master massage chair which was THE solution!!!

Great for comfort
Perfect for post surgery. It left a space so my husband could still watch his phone while having to be face down. Highly recommend for anyone doing a retina surgery

Face down pillow
At first the pillow looks cheap and badly made and came in cellophane plastic packaging. But the material is soft and the pillow gives nice support with the extra shoulder padding. The opening for face is good size and provided air flow. But the blocks to adjust height makes this not work. They're just hard and lying on it is stiff with no give. This could've been better if it was all one piece memory foam.

Useful for vitrectomy recovery
This was one of the more useful items for face-down positioning for recovery. It stayed inflated for 9 days so far. When combined with a memory foam wedge pillow it made sleeping face down tolerable.

Soft
Collapsed after about 10 days of use. The arm parts cut off circulation in my arms when it became flat.
