With a Velcro strap. I don’t recommend it.

Yes, it comes with an adapter-type plug - bulky, so you'll need to plug it in separately rather than into your light string, but the cord is pretty long.

Q: Does this come with a remote to turn on and off?

It does not, mine has a timer switch on it ( or at least I think it does) along with the on and off button. If the timer is set it will go off and come on automatically.
