Amazingly lightweight, easy to use!
I am a security guard and recently had an incident where I wish I had video footage. My boss suggested I purchase a body cam. So I did some research and found this camera. The back clip made it very easy to hang on to my work shirt. It's really lightweight, compact and easy to hold on to definitely not bulky. Camera operates with a push of a button, very easy on and off. The battery charges pretty fast and it lasts throughout my entire shift. The SD card can hold a good amount of data and when it's full I just overwrite old video files. Great resolution and just overall pretty good camera. Happy with it and I feel safer at work.

Lightweight!
Lightweight, it is also compact. It has a back clip very easy to hang. The camera is easy to use with a push of a button. It has an SD card that when it's full just overwrites old footage. The resolution is okay, not the greatest but clear enough.

I was not impressed
First of all any excitement I had over the product was dimmed when I opened it and found that it was micro USB. That means that the technology inside the thing is old. I thought it looked like USB-C in the photograph but more often than not those are actually computer renderings and they usually make the product look a lot better than it does in person.I understand that this thing has a lot of great reviews but this was not my experience. The images were grainy and not very sharp. And these were under better lighting conditions. When I tried using it in the dark or dimly lit areas it was so much worse. I know it says 1080 P but it’s not going to look like HD that we are all familiar with. The sound in addition was muddy and tinny. You can make out a conversation that you had with somebody but if you had to listen to this kind of audio on a YouTube video you would probably click away. It’s just very unpleasant to listen to.The images are accurate enough to document if you’re doing something such as delivery or even possibly nursing or if you need to prove that you were somewhere at some time doing some thing, this will probably do bud that’s about it. And because it small is no longer excuse with this tiny cameras that have excellent picture quality that everybody sees and phones, there’s no reason you couldn’t get great picture quality here. But I would imagine you have to pay a lot more for that.Is this thing worth $50? Yeah not for me it may be for you if you have a particular used case but I got a feel like that you could do better. It does work and I didn’t try to run it for six hours but it I did run it for a while and the battery seems to last. You can get a lot of video on the memory card they give you.But this is not the product to pick if you want to relive an experience that you had because this just isn’t something you’re going to want to watch and certainly want to listen to. I think this is for documentation only and not when you need a lot of detail. For instance if I wanted to make a video on how to solder a power supply onto a circuit board, this would not be the camera to use. Maybe if I wanted to do a video of a class and show with the instructor is doing perhaps, But I can you run into that audio problem. There is no noise cancellation whatsoever and any sound you get is going to be mixed in with all of the ambient noises, especially wind. There’s a chance my expectations are just too high for a camera like this. There’s also a chance that I got a bad one because I see all of the good reviews here. And had this been a USB-C camera I would think that may be the case. But with a micro USB, seriously, I think the good reviewer‘s were just far too easily impressed. I would definitely buy it with caution.

This is a Must Have!!! It is small enough to get the work done.
I like it for many reasons. It is small and can easily be used in a very descrete way without being noticed. It serves as a multi function tool. I am going to travel over the weekend and I'll take it with me to use on the PC at my other home as a webcam and the whenever I going on the road use it as a dash cam and on my clothes as I walk around town. Not sure if it will make it back to the US since my Jamaican tech friend will more than likely hold on to it. I am prepared to buy another one.

Unfortunately it has failed on virtually every level
The media could not be loaded. In the age of Social Media with "Caught on Camera" videos everywhere and crime on the rise, I was very excited about the possibilities of this product.Unfortunately it has failed on virtually every level. The only positive is that it does record video. One indicator of trouble to come is in the Specs listed on the outside of the package, the Video format is AVI when I would expect MP4 and the "Supporting Systems: Windows ME, 2000,xp/2003/Vista" are very old. Additionally, the devices default date embedded on the videos of 06/27/2017 and the poor video quality would indicate that this is a very old, in technology years, device that has probably been laying around in a warehouse for years. When I first removed the camera from the box the included connection/charging cable would not plug into it's connector. After ensuring they matched I used a bit more force to get it connected. When connecting to the PC the connection was not stable, so I pushed it in a little more, that solved that problem. The instructions mentioned a time.txt file on the root of the drive, Windows sees this as a USB drive, that you can edit to manage the time stamp on the recorded video. I was never able to make it work and the broken English of the instruction booklet made it that much more difficult. There is a reset procedure outlined in the instruction booklet but it did not resolve any of the issues I encountered. As you can see from my video clips, the video produced was less than desirable. It is very noisy and oversaturated with extreme motion blur. I removed the audio from my video due to it being overly loud to the point of being distorted on playback with ambient room noise in the obnoxious range.Unfortunately, I didn't get to test this camera's Night Vision or anything much before the battery died. The instruction booklet indicates that there is a red light when charging. I never saw any red light. I tried several different sources to charge form connected to the PC, to several different USB chargers. None ever elicited a red light. Absent a way to charge, this camera goes into the trash bin. If it were functional and less expensive I might occasionally use it in select circumstances absent a better alternative. The instruction booklet, was trying to be through in it's broken English way, but was also trying to use marketing language to play up the features as better than they are and in the process made it much more difficult to decipher what they were saying. This was billed as a Body Cam and I obtained it with the intention of using it as a body cam. Although it records video, the poor quality and incorrect Date/Time leaves me unsure it is of sufficient quality to be used as serious evidence. I suppose it could be good for a bystander view, but if you are directly involved in an incident I don't think it's video would be of much use.Bottom line is that for $50 this should be a very much better product. Personally I wouldn't pay more than $9.99 as it is. Even then I'd seek a refund if I found I couldn't charge it!

Affordable Bodycam for Casual Recording
You pay for what you get. It's great that they include the memory card because it makes up for the low resolution output you're going to get. The operation took a little while to figure out, and the built is lightweight but that's ideal for it's needs. I think it will be good for just general recordings but if you need the resolution to identify details like faces or car plates, one should spring for something of a higher quality. This works ok, just not great.
