These are fantastic. I have one in my bag, my coffee table, my desk by my bed. After a couple of weeks using them consistently my nails grew out long enough I was accidentally scratching people; because I hadn't adjusted since I can never grow them that long.I spent ages looking for some good quality glass/crystal nail files and was really struggling to find any that were properly etched, not just having sand glued on.They're so good I converted a friend who bought their own 5 pack, to even have one in the car. They can get through a decent amount of nail if you're looking to shape, so the "grit" isn't too fine but won't damage your nail. They are very slightly harsher than I would like to finish, you have to file very lightly to get a perfect smooth edge, so it takes a slight bit of skill and practice.The case is nice, I don't use it but it's also good quality and isn't one of the weird ones that smells like fish which was my concern.Shout out to my boyfriend who broke my last glass nail file opening a parcel with it like it was a box cutter. Took me months and hours of reviews to find these, but it's worked out for the best since these are even better than my last files and now I use them every day, instead of only if my single file happened to be in the same room.I've not particularly abused them and don't think I've dropped one yet, but I've taken no particular care of them since I got them (e.g. just chucked into a section of a bag loose with my keys) and no breakages. If somehow all 5 of them were inexplicably lost or destroyed, I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

I can only compare it to my OPI one which I’ve sadly lost.and it’s not as good and too thick to get to the sides of my oval choice of nail shape. Ok if nails are square ended I suppose. Good value though as so many.

Have just used these for umpteenth time since purchased 2017. Still as good as ever, and that is very good. They also do a much quicker job than “old style” metal ones.

Excellent files. Leave your nail edges as smooth as if you had polished them with a buffer. Doesn’t “ shred” (separate the ends of your nails into layers, or leave burrs that need to be filed off) your nails like other files.My first time trying glass files. Been used to padded style ones that can bend and give, so using a bit of glass that is rigid, takes a couple of goes to get used to. Very much worth it though. I am never going back to other types now. There really is a huge difference using these, and you can wash them, so they will save you money in the long run.I don’t know if they are all different “grades” of “grit strength”, as they all feel very similar to the touch. However, they are so effective that it doesn’t really matter, and because they don’t “shed” the sand grains (like all other files that aren’t glass or metal), all of the texture is being used to its fullest effect. I wish they had invented these years ago

Hace tiempo que utilizo limas de vidrio porque me dan grima las de cartón.He probado de varios tipos: las hay más duraderas y otras que con un par de usos parece que pierden el grano y no liman bien.Llevaré con éstas unas tres semanas y siguen limando como el primer día, son de buena calidad.El diseño es fantástico, los colores son preciosos y muy vivos.El estuche está genial, quedan todas las limas a mano y está muy bien rematado.Las limas son diferentes para distintos acabados. Realmente no sé para qué sirve cada una, pero ya iré investigando :).

Había probado limas de cristal de otras marcas, más de cinco euros por unidad y con el tiempo se les iba la parte rugosa de la lima como si la tuvieran "pegada" encima. Estas de Kovira están muy bien de precio (unos dos euros y medio por unidad), muy bien presentadas en ese estuche y de momento liman muy bien, estoy muy contento con la compra. Si además no se les va la parte rugosa con el uso habrá sido la compra perfecta.

Son perfectas y muy duraderas. Aún voy por la primera y tras varios uso sigue siendo su efectividad del 100%
