Amazon Essentials Women's 100% Cotton Crewneck Cable Sweater

I've been looking at all cotton cable knit sweaters at some name brands that cost a lot more than this one, and I honestly don't see a difference in quality. This is a classy, flattering sweater that can be dressed up or down, doesn't pill and retains its color nicely after washing. I knew cotton wouldn't be fluffy like cashmere or poly/acrylic, which tend to pill like crazy, so I'm not sure what other reviewers were expecting from a cotton sweater. It is still soft and comfortable, not at all scratchy, but definitely cottony feeling. I'm short and small on top with average shoulders, and the small was a perfect, flattering fit without being boxy, tight or too long.

I loved the sweater, it is a very classic style and made very well. Fit was good. I bought a second in a different color and the pattern is different but still nice.

Excellent product to wear for many years. Classic style and easy wear and care. Nice breathable fabric that loosens through the day like your favorite old cotton tee shirt. No static cling!! But I chose my color carefully because my personal experience has been that100 cotton knit tends to fade.

I wash it in cold water, delicate and let line dry. The navy color faded, and the sweater pilled. The sleeves were also very long on me. I am 5’3 and ordered a medium. I had to cuff the sleeves, that being said the rest of the sweater fit great, and it was very warm. If it didn’t fade, I would have given it a better rating.

This sweater is heavy - super cozy- and comes in a variety of colors. It’s perfect for autumn and winter. I chose coral color. It’s unique and it works with my go-to slacks in black, blue and brown. I got a lot of wear out of this during the coldest months. Fit is true to size.

Love the peachy coral color, perfect for Spring. I am retired, but still enjoy assembling outfits to wear around the house or for errands. This is a heavy cotton sweater just right for cool days and my air conditioned home. It washes well…be sure to dry it flat as recommended. Flattering particularly since I lost 10 pounds recently. Looks good with the capri leggings that are my “uniform.”

I am a notorious fashion snob. This sweater is great! Unfortunately acrylic yarn gives me a rash and I couldn't find any soft warm sweaters this season at Nordstroms which was always my go to store. I decided to take a risk on Amazon because with free returns I had nothing to lose. I am happy I tried this sweater. The color is nice (not as bright as I was worried about). It is soft, warm and the unique cable design creates a flattering fit. I would buy another Amazon essentials sweater without any worries.

The sweater is a bit heavy for this time of year .but I bought it for and older person who feels the cold. However she loves it and it washed well.

Lovely sweater that fits me perfectly. I like my sweaters to be fitted as I don't wear shirts etc. under them and I'm short. Was torn between ordering small or medium but after reading reviews about the fit I decided to risk 'small' and was not disappointed. I'm 5'2" and 135 pounds. The sleeves are longish (which is great for me as my arms are longish for a sort person and I hate it when sleeves are too short) but the body of the sweater is mid hip - great for a short person. All in all very happy with purchase and am ordering in another colour. Am not worried about shrinkage as I'm one of those lunatics that hand washes, and lays out to dry, all my sweaters (and I have many!)
