Simple, effective, non-intrusive light. Perfect for grandkids to see our upper house landing area on the way to lavatory! Same colour as light from a fireplace but without the flickering.

Some 'nighlights' can use horrible harsh blue LEDs, but this uses (correctly) a nice soft warm red glow that triggers melatonin production in your brain and keeps you sleepy. My light meter shows 2200-2800 kelvin temperature for the nightlight (pics attached) which is pretty good - around 1800 would be similar to candlelight so this isn't too bad at all. The unit is semi-translucent but seems well made and is nice and small and neat. Recommended.

Traditional style plug in night light - It uses the same type of old style neon lighting that's normally used in most switches or extension cords to indicate whether they're on or not, just a little brighter. It isn't LED.The dim orange glow is good for if you get up in the night and don't want to dazzle yourself or disturb others - Especially if you have sensitive eyes and really hate how much they hurt when you turn normal lights on while you're half asleep, which is why I bought one. But bear in mind that this only gives off just barely enough light to see by.

I bought 3 of these to light various areas in my house during the night. Initially they seemed to be permanently on, however after a few days they only seem to light up during the day when it's light. At night with all the lights off they go into a weird flickering mode, pulsing on and off giving an irregular strobe effect, almost like, but too fast to be, a flickering real fire. Probably useful as an effect during Halloween.

I absolutely loved this when we first got itI use it in the kids room - 2 boys sharing (3/1yo). My 3yo hates the dark but my 1yo hates sleeping with a light. It's a gentle light perfect for them.HOWEVER, after a month it starting flickering and won't stay steady anymore... Light now dims and brightens too... Going to try a new one if the same thing happens I won't be happy.

Arrived super fast. This is a lovely orange glow, unlike many night lights these days that are a cold white. Works great. So much so I bought another. Feels hot to touch when it's been on all night, I'm hoping this is normal.

A low background light to assist in moving around a hallway at night. I wanted a background glow and not the harsh brilliant white of modern led contraptions.Simply plug in and leave it, negligible power consumption. Despite one review saying otherwise, it does not come anywhere near the socket's switches.In all ways perfect for my needs
