I am so very happy with this updated chandelier for my home! It took some extra time and work to properly assemble. It did not come with bulbs, gloves or assemble tools. It did come with the traditionally required wire nut/caps. You will need a Phillips bead screwdriver, electrical tape, wire strippers & cutters. You will also need a wrench and scotch tape. The scotch tape is to secure together the loose ends of the black & white wire so that they can be thread through the narrow tube and nut junctions. You must start threading from the ceiling plate down toward the fixture because of how the wires must be threaded through a cut open screw thread then both wire must be immediately fed down one very tube to the light arm junction box. The drop length can only be 2 long rods and a short rod or one long rod and the short rod, not just the 2 long rods alone. I would have preferred for the drop length to be just the two long rods and the connector threader at the ceiling plate does not accommodate this arrangement. The other parts of the assembly which are a bit tricky and time consuming are getting ea h of the light arm 6 white and 6 black wires positioned uniformly and twisted with the corresponding white and black wire which has been threaded down the hanging rods from the ceiling. You need to screw together the two groups of seven wires and fit the two bundles into the junction box and attach three screws. Each of the 6 light arms must be individually screwed in place equidistant from one another, but you can't do this without a tool (not included). This screwing of 6 nuts is done in a shallow junction box with 12 wires which leaves nearly no space to get a wrench in except vertically. That is a slow and tedious process. The ceiling plate for this fixture is slightly larger than most, so that can be helpful if you have an irregular ceiling hole. Our fixture started buzzing while I was writing this review, but fortunately it was just a loose bulb!

This chandelier looks like shiny gold in the images. Upon opening it looks like it has cheap yellow paint on it. Wish we hadn’t waited so long to open as we are beyond the return policy.

This is one of the most beautiful chandeliers I've ever seen. It's sleek, stylish & such a bang for your buck. It wasn't hard to assemble & install. We also get compliments on this piece!

This light is stunning in person and is absolutely worth the money you pay for it. However, instructions for assembly is just pictures and led to a lot of frustration. We started on this project several times before becoming frustrated, then would leave it for a while. Once it’s installed, it’s worth it. Just wish the instructions were more clear.

This chandelier is so pretty and cool. Looks very nice in my dining area. The installation and assembly were easy and definitely worth the price!

Had I known I'd have to put the entire thing together i may had reconsidered getting this. It's giving me Ikea vibes and not in a good way. I truly hope this fixture is worth the fuss
