I don't really have black heads as such, but have a lot of visible enlarged pores on my nose (a condition which I've seen described online as \"strawberry nose\" - what a lovely image!!)For me, it does the job and is better than any other brand I have tried. In my opinion it removes what it is supposed to remove i.e. the gunk in my pores. It has not removed skin (as can happen with other similar products). I have read some comments from people who think the strips remove tiny hairs from the skin rather than dirt. I don't personally think this is the case (although I'm not a dermatologist, so I could be wrong), I came to this conclusion because:a). I don't have a hairy nose (I mean I have quite a shiny nose, and no matter how closely I look, I can't see even any teeny weeny hairs)b). looking closely at the stuff removed, there is no root like you would see on a hairc). my nose looks cleaner after usingThe first time I used it it removed quite a lot of gunk. It's satisfying to see it on the strip.The second and third times I used it, there was less to show on the strip, but still enough to be visible.I haven't had spectacular results, but there is a noticeable difference. I'm going to keep using it and see how I get on, but I have a feeling that I won't be able to completely cure my strawberry nose with home treatments alone. Maybe if it bothers me enough, I might go and see about having some kind of peel or minor procedure to correct it. I don't think there is a better product on the market in this price range and suitable for home use.The product arrived the day after I ordered it. The box was a bit bashed from being in the post, but the strips inside were fine. This product arrived the next day with amazon prime and I used it the same day. In preparation for my brothers wedding, I wanted my skin to look as good as possible and after seeing some reviews of this product, I decided to give it a go.I followed the instructions, ensuring my skin was clean and wet before applying the strip to my nose. The nose has to be wet so that the strip adheres properly to your skin. Once applied, ensuring it is pressed down properly on the nose, it can be left until it dries out and can be peeled off carefully. Upon removing the strip I found that it had removed a few blackheads and this was visible on the strip. I was really impressed by this as i have never found a blackhead product that visibly works. I will definitely use these strips from time to time to maintain my skin and guard against blocked pores.I think using them ever few weeks will be fine for me but they can be used more or less frequently. I've used it a few times now and I'm pleasantly surprised. It really doesn't hurt that much, yes it hurts a little bit but my eyes aren't watering. For best results, carry on using it once a week. You will see some results after first use, but they are much better with continuous use. Four stars instead of five because it doesn't get a lot in one go, I still have a few blackheads left after each go - but it is definitely better than it was before I used Biore. You can also see the results on the strip - it's interesting to see where needs extra patting down as it goes on. It didn't pull out anything at all and I had a sticky substance left on my nose... not usual compared to other brands I have used. If you follow the simple instructions they are very easy to use. You need to peel them off slowly and carefully and it is a little uncomfortable (only a little) but they are, after all, cleaning out the pores on your nose. Indeed you can see what has been removed stuck on the pad after you have peeled it off. I use one every couple of weeks. I've always had a wee bit of an issue with blackheads at the sides of by nose and was going through a rare 'spotty' period so decided to give these a try. They only bloody work don't they!
