This takes about 10 mins to boil, set in your mouth, then rest in ice water.Once done (which is a fairly straightforward exercise), you have a tough mouthguard that is a specific fit for your mouth. Excellent!I have used this in Krav Maga (fortunately not taken a hit yet but this will come I am sure), but it is good having the confidence that my mouth area is protected. This is a Venom product, which means I have confidence in it.I would advise when setting the fit in your mouth, that you bite down as hard as you can and suck all the air out as it sets, so that you get a snug fit that won't fall out. It does state this in the instructions, just thought I would emphasise it here...

Good quality product although doesn't cover all my teeth at the back?

Had this mouthguard for four months and it molded perfectly on the first time. I have been sparring 3 times a week since i bought it and i haven't experienced any issues other than the fact you need to bend the mouthguard to fit into place.

24 years experience in contact sports and using mouth guards. Generally, this mouth guard is bulky and unfortunately you only get one good mold out of it. If it doesn't fit first try, all other attempts make it loose as the gel cannot bounce back in the heat.So now I have an over priced, bulky, loose fitting month guard that doesn't fit in the provided case that is not fit for purpose. Case provided will only fit guard that hasn't been molded or if you have an unusually straight mouth.

Perfect product. designed for a purpose. This is the first mouthgaurd I've owned for a long while and they have defo improved a lot. its comfortable and very good quality.

First gum shield ive had that doesnt make me gag as soon as it goes in. Fits well and i like the design

I use this for Jiu Jitsu and not had any issues with it. with the more flexible orange parts, I've not had a mouthguard that is easier to fit or fits as well.

So I’ve had this mouth guard for 5 months. It’s my first mouth guard. Initially when moulding it, it took 3 attempts to get it right. But once it was moulded, it felt secure in my mouth during sparring. It did make me gag a bit sometimes putting it in but that’s probably just my fault for having a responsive gag reflex. However, in terms of durability of the mouth guard itself, I had to rate it down. After 5 months of fairly frequent use, I have managed to bite through it on either side, so much so that bits of plastic came off in my mouth during sparring. Not sure a mouth guard is supposed to do that really or if I have jaws of a vice. Regardless, it’s gone in the bin. I’m glad I didn’t choke on it!
