I install network calling and equipment. I've used a lot of patch panels. This one is easy to recommend. The Iwillink 24 port unloaded patch is a good quality and easy to use piece of hardware. Nothing special there. But, with the included blank covers, zip ties and removable wire loom for cable management on the back, this is on another level. And at a very competitive price point. As long as these are available, this is my go to patch panel.

Easy to mount.

It turned out to be exactly right for my enclosure, although my implementation has the numbers upside-down. Nice and solid. It was a bit difficult to mount in the enclosure, but that was more the enclosure’s fault. My one gripe is that the keystone connectors are too tight, due to the wires extending on the side of the connectors. Maybe you’re supposed to trim the wires shorter so that they aren’t visible on the sides, but if there are even small protruding stubs (which is how I trimmed them), there isn’t space in the enclosure for all 12. The mounts start to lean, and I had to use a blank between every 3 or 4 keystones to create tolerance (which was OK for me, since I only had 9 cables to attach). I’m not sure if the fault is the mount’s or my trimming of the wires, but there really isn’t any spare room between mounts.

I bought one of these as a patch pannel from my server rack to aft as a main patch where I drop into my closet out of the attic/rest of the home. It seeemd like such a great fit that we have actually decided to set up a second patch in the attick to quickly be able to reroute/change things as needed/ have it all labeled well in the attic for easy access/additions. So I have run extra cables of varying types up to the attic and capped them so that we can use them in the future as we grow.

I’m not one to write reviews but I wanted to inform potential buyers to stay away from this panel. As someone who is in the industry, I purchased this panel to install in my home. I added an additional Cat 6 run and my existing set up could not accommodate an additional connection. I bought this panel due to reasonable price and thought it would do the job. Well when I received the panel I realized that the mounting block did not have enough clearance to connect female to female keystones when wall mounting. No big deal, I thought I could come up with a solution to add more clearance from the wall. This added additional time for the install. Then went it came to insert the keystones I then discovered jacks 4 and 9 are basically useable due to the mounting block being directly behind them blocking entry of the keystones. So I then modified the mounting block to allow access. Snapping in the keystones is very difficult. The openings for them almost seems too small. Then if you try to remove a keystone the front faceplate that holds them in pops off. Overall this panel is just a piece of garbage. I would like to return it but at this point I have so much time invested not sure I want to rip it out and replace with one of better quality. Just don’t waste your time and stay away from this thing.

I purchased this for my house to declutter CAT6 cables. It attacked easily in my small IT cabinet and the connectors attached as needed to clean up the cabinet and make cabling easier to locate and use. I may have to get a second one as the need grows but for now, very pleased.

Great quality and everything you need is in the box, including blanking plates and zip ties.

Well packaged, arrived in perfect condition. Nicely finished product. Came with black keystone blanks, screws and clips to fasten to rails. Also supplied with small cable ties for cable management if using the removable back plate. Back plate has port numbers which is useful. Haven't installed it yet, but if works as intended will recommend to friends.

The front plate is metal and nice quality, as are the blank plugs, the white wall mount is sturdy plastic, but if you are using female to female couplers as the listing suggests, then the design does not lend itself well to being wall mounted, as you may be able to see in the photo of my setup, I used mounting spacers to bring the patch panel out from the wall a bit, and it works fine.Another solution would be to use punch down keystones to get a little more room

Really nice little patch panel, sturdy, does a great job of keeping my communications box much more organized.As others have mentioned, depending on the keystones you're installing, it is a bit on the tight side, but this was not a major issue for me and I was able to get the keystones back out again without damaging the unit.
