I've owned this about 6 months and it has worked out well. All features work as expected: the close/sleep function, the stand, and the hand straps. Good quality and price. Would recommend.

The cover is just like my <OTHER BRAND> cover for the Paperwhite - and I love both. The textile feel of the reader in your hand lends a lot to the reading experience, and this cover definitely gives the feel of a small leather bound book. Hand grips and stand work great, quality seems to be good (to be fair, I've only had it for a day). Fits the 2E almost perfectly. The punch out for the power button on the back is a little off center, but lines up enough that you can still use the button if needed.

Safe, secure, and easy to hold. Even (loosely, but effectively) fits my Aura!I spilled pasta sauce on it AND accidentally dropped it in my driveway when I was leaving one day, where it got rained on a bit. Cleaned up perfectly and my Clara was safe 😌

I was nervous buying this case without reviews especially since there are no other 2E cases on Amazon, besides for the official kobo case. Case is perfect for the Clara 2E, it fits snugly inside and the sleep wake function works perfectly. Case has a punch out on the back for the power button and case has a magnet to hold the front flap open when reading. I cannot say how the quality will hold up but it looks nice and does not have that fake leather look. Very sleek and the color is nice- not a deep black, more like a charcoal black.

Love this case. The materials and construction are first rate and I expect to get many years of use from it. It fits my Clara 2e like a glove and the cutouts for power button and USB port are accurate and easy to use. The flip out tab for the stand keeps the reader at a perfect angle for reading - - and it is even magnetized to keep it closed so it won't flop around when not needed. Speaking of magnets, the one that holds the case closed also holds it open when the front is flipped (180 degrees) all the way around. That means that if you use a hand strap everything stays together - - I can hold it at any angle and the won't flop around like an open book does when you hold it from just one side. And the hand straps are snug and won't allow any movement of the case and reader.I don't normally use the auto sleep/wake function of the reader but I did turn it on and try it. The case put the reader to sleep and woke it just fine the 3-4 times that I tested it.I would recommend this case, without reservations, to anyone with a Kobo Clara 2e.
