Don't waste your money, seriously
Ok long review because I wish someone had given an honest review so I would not have wasted my time and money! For context, I received these on Nov 16. One came with a large crack in the plastic, but I figured it didn't impact function and wouldn't be seen under the cabinet. So I went ahead and installed them in my kitchen underneath my cabinets so that they light the countertops. The kitchen is not very big, and I have 3 lights on one side of the room within 1 ft of each other, and 2 on the other on either side of the stove. Max distance between the lights is about 6ft. As of today, they have been installed for exactly 3 weeks. When fully charged, these lights look wonderful in the kitchen and provide great light. I'd love to be able to use them as I intended— as a more relaxed lighting when overheads aren't needed. However, the nice look only lasts an extremely short time, making them virtually pointless. See below:Battery + settings - After installing, I charged each of the lights (only 1 cord was included, so I scrounged other mini usb cords from around the house) before a dinner party at my house. Each light changed from a red light to a blue light, i'm assuming meaning it’s fully charged. I placed them back and didn’t use them until the party (7:30pm). I turned them all to “ON”, set to warm light, no timer or motion sensor. During the party, many of the lights were turning off, even though people were standing all around them in the kitchen. I pressed the “ON” button on the sides of all of the lights again to be sure that they would NOT be in motion sensor mode. Still, through the night, lights were turning off and on randomly. Some lights became very dim after only about 2 hours of use. By the end of the party (4.5 hours), the lights were doing terribly. Most of them were completely dead, and a few were still working but VERY dim.I tested them again — I charged fully on the 22nd, and left “ON” to test them. I did this for about 2 hours (though some kept turning off randomly) then got annoyed and just turned them off. The next day (23rd) I turned on the lights and they were significantly dimmer than the previous day. By the 28th (6 days later), the lights were so dim and produced almost no light at all, and some were completely dead (despite all having the same charge). Long story short… The lights have a terrible battery life! They don’t even last the mere 6-7 hours on 100% as advertised (and looking back, that is not very much time at all). If I wanted to use these, I would have to charge them at least 1-2x per week, and that's with only using them sparingly!Remote - The remote is very finicky. It will usually turn all 5 lights on at once when pressing "ON" from the middle of the room. But, when I press the "OFF" button from the same spot, it doesn't work. I have to turn each light off individually by going directly up to it (within 1 foot) and pressing "OFF". It's the same issue with the other function buttons— you have to go directly up to each light and change it individually. If you don't do this, you might only change 2 out of the 5 installed lights and then they will be all on different settings.Motion sensor - The listing claims they detect motion up to 10 feet away, but I have been standing about 3-4 feet from the light while opening my fridge (moving, not standing still) and a light will just turn off. I have to go right up to it and wave my hand around for it to turn back on. (And this is after I have repeatedly tried to set it to the "ON" setting, and not motion detection...)Installation - I opted to use the stick-on method for installation. No major issues, although the design was not great—Basically there's a groove in the back of the light where the 2 sticky magnets sit into and magnetize on. But the sticky magnets are barely a hair taller than the groove they sit in, so when you're trying to stick the whole thing onto a surface, there is not enough of the sticky part raised above the back of the light to actually meet the surface, since it's basically flush to the back of the light. So you have to push really hard on the light to get enough pressure on the sticky part that it will actually adhere. Hard to explain but.. I had some trouble getting the lights to stick at first.TLDR - the lights have a VERY poor battery life (worse than some AA battery powered string lights I own). It MIGHT be okay for a closet or some place where you don’t need the light often. But not advisable at ALL for under-cabinet lighting. Unless you would like to individually charge each light for 2hrs 1-2x per week, then have at it.

AMAZING product! I need more!
Super bright and perfect for using in closets with no lights or dim lights. I have one in the entry to my garage so I can find the light switch! I use them for my in laws in the hallway and the bathroom on the floor on the kick board. These are perfect!!! I have them under my upper kitchen cabinets for the midnight snacking time. I have them on my stairs to light the way. Super easy to recharge and the charge lasts a very long time!!! Such a winner!!!

Lights
The hassle of plugging in 6 individual plugs vs putting them in a rechargeable carrier.... It's like watching paint dry.

Easy-Peasy Alternative Light Source! LOVE IT~ WICKED KEWL
So I'm an Energy Miser, I actually track my kilowatt hours each month on my bill. I live on a farm in a remote area so unless I have the lights on OR there's a full moon it's totally pitch dark at night, no street lights or ambient light. These lil rascals are SUPER-easy to install, just make sure the surface you're attaching them is perfectly clean & bone-dry. If you're not 100% sure of the "stick-ability" of the surface, use a fine grit sandpaper to prepare the surface for the adhesive pad to adhere to, being sure to wipe away any dust from sanding before you attempt to attach it. I used them under my kitchen cabinet and in both bathrooms under the vanity cabinet edge proximal to the toilets. I also put one above a door in a hallway that's very dark at night & has no outlets near it. Now I don't need to turn the lights on at all during the night! The lights are very bight but depending on how often you're going in/out, you can expect the light to dim gradually over the period of a month/6 wks or so. I buy bulk batts on that well-known e-auction site online :) & they're WAY cheaper than paying for electricity & kilowatt hours. I LOVE that they motion-sense but how sensitive that is will depend entirely on your placement of them. Try to put them where they don't come on until you're right next to them, will save your batteries. I love these little buggers so much that I'm buying some for my soon-to-be Grandbaby's Nursery, will help them see at night to care for Baby without turning on a lamp or overhead light. Super energy-efficient, cheap & a great addition to any home or office space. Winnah-winnah, chicken dinnah!

Great for dark closets!
My daughter gave us one of these LED Motion Sensor Closet lights and we loved it so much that we bought this pack of 4 for our other closets. I've always hated how most of our small closets are so dark, especially my dark cherry boudoir closet in our bedroom. Lining the inside with white paper wasn't enough--I still had trouble finding the blouse I wanted because it was so dark inside. These lights are great. They turn on and off automatically. They'll even go off automatically when I accidentally leave the boudoir door cracked open.I also want to put one in our laundry room because that's the main way we enter and exit our house. However, the light switch in the laundry room is in an odd spot and is hard to find in the dark so we've often left the laundry room light on all the time when we're away, a waste of electricity. This wireless battery light will solve that problem.Regarding reliability? I can't speak for battery life except to say that all 4 of the lights in this pack have worked reliably for the 2 months since we first put them up. This includes the one in our sliding-door non-walk-in closet. The light goes on when we open the closet door and goes off on its own after a couple of minutes. It really makes a difference in terms of what you can see. It's so nice being able to see what's in the closets for a change. I had resorted to using a flashlight. I won't have to do that any more. Recommend to those who have dark closets.
