We checked our sizes before ordering these costumes, and these were correct for the sizes of clothes that we usually wear. The Dick Dastardly costume was missing the stick-on moustache, the Velcro on the coat doesn’t actually stay closed, and one of the buttons fell off the coat within seconds of putting it on.As for the Penelope Pitstop costume, don’t buy this if you have boobs, or a bum, or shoulders, because it clearly isn’t made to fit anyone with any of the above. The zip at the back doesn’t extend as far as the waist, which means that you have to either get it past your bum (not happening) or manage to squeeze it over your shoulders and boobs. Unfortunately it doesn’t get better once you have the outfit on. It doesn’t look like they have fitted this on an actual human; the waist doesn’t sit on the waist, it’s too tight in some places and too big in others, and the raised collar doesn’t sit around the head, it’s too far down the back and sticks out horizontally. I will have to wear it as unfortunately I don’t have the time to get another costume, but clearly the price is to cover the licensing costs, not for the quality of the costumes.
