This show was pretty good and better than expected. It explains the timeline of events that went on in Anna's life and sends a clearer picture of her. Good production and I enjoyed it.

This movie is incredibly sad for me. I know for the most part, people might see the movie as very sleazy for the first half of it, but when it comes time for Anna Nicole to be admitted to the hospital when her baby girl is born, I'm not going to spoil it, but from that point on, there is a serious tragedy regarding her son. (Though most might already know, since this is based on realism.) The first half of the movie, I'll admit is pure sleaze, though I understand that her story is being told how it was.Still, I feel that there is some way a bunch of it could have been glossed over, pointless stripper scenes that don't move the plot, maybe instead of wasting time making those, you can have her head out to stage and fade to next scene and find other methods to portray her "first" job that really is only relevant in regards to explaining her life which needed to be understood to actually understand the real point of the movie.For me, the story really begins once she and Danny get a house, her relationship with her son is one of the main plots, actually the one that really hits home for me and then her more relevant career, that is where it really starts for me and from there it travels on into a tragedy that will tear your heart out, not just for the wrtiting, directing, or the actual lives of the people but the actors as well do an amazing job. It takes a lot to hit me emotionally and this movie brought me from witnessing a touch and go life into utter tears when it all inevitably crashes.Good movie, worth every cent, great cast, especially our leads as mother and son, they do a beyond amazing job and the writing is incredible and surprising when you see some of the things her son does in reaction to the things that she had done or was doing. If you can just get through the first part, I promise you it's worth it, all that is was to make us understand the start, but it could have been done with fewer scenes, particularly the ones that bring about the points that take you to the next plot point, there were more stripper scenes than the movie really called for but trust me, it's worth the buy if you get through and advance to the next part that will begin the journey of your emotions being stirred and torn to pieces by the tragedy of Anna Nicole.

Spoiler if you have no clue about Anna Nicole’s story …..There was a few things left out. Like it showed Anna naming her baby with her son sitting on the hospital bed beside her … named her Dannielynn Hope “after her brother” she told Danny….but when in reality she originally named her Hannah Rose Marshall Stern only after her son passed did she change her name to Dannielynn Hope. And it didn’t mention the fact she was sick right before she died … it just left it as if she overdosed . They didn’t show She had a raging fever of 105 before she passed away and a bacterial infection from an injection site and intestinal flu. The movie just skips the details. But it was a good movie…the actress did a great job portraying Anna Nicole. Sounded just like her . The guy playing her son looked the part… basically the casting was pretty spot on .

Insightful! She died from taking an overdose of prescription medication mixed with alcohol.

This biopic movie was full of discrepancies and deleted info that was very important to the life of Anna Nicole. She was a drugged alcoholic looking for attention. She made her fame and fortune by using her body to get what she wanted. I believe her self esteem was low. The only person I felt any regret for was her child. She was a manipulative user of people. I feel she never earned any respect from anyone. Her story was sad but not for her, for her son. I must admit I was never impressed with her and this movie helped me realize why. She was beautiful but all fake.

I knew this wouldn't be a masterpiece. It met my expectations.

Nothing much to write-the story of a tragic train wreck-I don't recall watching it through to the end-but I found it a bit interesting from a historical ( or maybe hysterical) perspective.RJS

"Anna Nicole" schafft es nicht, sich aus dem Kielwasser gut gemachter Biografien abzuheben. Von Anfang an dümpelt der Film an der Oberfläche des verkorksten Lebens der für Skandalzeitungen gut genugen Anna Nicole Smith herum und erreicht leider zu keinem Zeitpunkt auch nur den Hauch von Tiefgang. Wenn man sich den Film angesehen hat, bleibt der Nachgeschmack, dass man immer noch KEINE Biografie von Anna Nicole Smith kennt. Daher gibt es von mir ganz klar keine Film-Empfehlung.Eingangs wird die Kindheit des künftigen Playmates kurz angeschnitten, doch mit dem Hinweis, dass Anna Nicole kein gutes Verhältnis zu ihrer alleinerziehenden Mutter hatte, wird der geneigte Film-Zuschauer auch mehr oder weniger übergangslos schon ans Ende der ersten Ehe des Playmates in spe katapultiert. Jugendzeit, sowie die Ehe mit ihrem ersten Mann, also Themen die eigentlich in eine Biografie hinein gehören, sollte man meinen, werden völlig augeblendet. Dass da aber irgendwas "Nebensächliches" in Anna Nicole's Leben gewesen sein muss erschließt sich in soweit, dass von nun ab ein kleiner Sohn an die Seite des (noch) flachbrüstigen Fotomodels gestellt wird.Nach einer Brust-Vergrößerung sieht man einige Minuten lang Anna Nicole Smith an der Stange eines Strip-Lokals tanzen (wobei amerikanisch-züchtig stets auf das Zeigen von nackter Haut geflissentlich verzichtet wird.) Der prägende Eindrücke im Milieu der Tänzerinnen und der Strip-Szene, die diese Frau sicherlich geprägt haben dürften, wird jedoch so gut wie nicht thematisiert.Aus Gründen, die sich dem Zuschauer nicht erschließen greift Anna Nicole ab jetzt in unregelmäßigen Abständen zu Flasche und Medikamenten und torkelt daraufhin einige Male benommen und leicht bekleidet über den Bildschirm, während ihr Sohn neben ihr heranwächst und die Welt nicht mehr versteht.Bekanntermaßen heiratet die Protagonistin einen über 80jährigen Öl-Milliardär. Mich hätten die näheren Umstände des Kennenlernens zwischen dem alten Herrn und der jungen Tänzerin interessiert, doch warum sich der schwerreiche Knacker von seinem Chaffeur ausgerechnet in einen billigen Strip-Laden am Rande einer Dorfstraße bugsieren lässt, bleibt auch nach Ansehen des Filmes der Phantasie des Zuschauers überlassen. Auch im weiteren Verlauf verzichtet der Film auf Hintergründe des alten Milliardärs, die Ehe zwischen ihm und Anna Nicole scheint gar nicht existiert zu haben, so der Eindruck nach dem Film, denn darüber wird ganz einfach gar nichts erzählt. Inhaltlich wird diese, alles entscheidende Episode im Leben des Fotomodells einfach übergangen.Unweigerlich drängt sich einem die Frage auf, worüber der Film rund 90 Minuten lang eigentlich erzählt? Sämtliche bedeutenden Lebensmomente werden entweder salop in einer Szene heruntergenudelt oder gar nicht angeschnitten.Am Schluss stirbt der Alte, Anna Nicole erbt nichts, ihr Sohn ist plötzlich im Endstadium einer Drogen/Medikamentensucht und stirbt, sie folgt ihm zwei Minuten später. Ende.Immerhin ist die Leistung der teilweise sogar recht bekannten Schauspieler recht ansehnlich, doch leider ist der Film an sich nicht sehr aufwendig gestaltet, so dass auch gute schauspielerische Leistungen abgewertet werden. Auf opulente Sequenzen, wie man sie sich im Umfeld eines Milliardärs eben so vorstellt, wurde vermutlich aus Budget-Gründen weitestgehend verzichtet. Freunde einer üppigen Film-Ausstattung kommen also auch nicht auf ihre Kosten.Alles in Allem bleiben, nachdem man sich den Film angesehen hat, zwei Erkenntnisse zur Wahl. Entweder die, dass der Film nur oberflächlich und lieblos hingeklatscht wurde in der Hoffnung, mit dem Namen der Verstorbenen noch ein letztes Mal gehörig Geld verdienen zu können, oder, dass das Leben von Anna Nicole Smith einfach stinklangweilig war, so dass eine Verfilmung desselben völlig überflüssig gewesen wäre.Eingangs galt bei Amazon-Prime für den Film eine FSK-18 Beschränkung, doch hier kann getrost Entwarnung gegeben werden. Der Film als absolut jugendfrei, denn es handelt sich wirklich nur um seichteste Unterhaltung ohne jegliches Gefährdungspotential für die sittliche Erziehung junger Menschen. Gewalt 0% und nackte Körper gibt es in jedem Werbespot für Sonnencreme häufiger und ausführlicher zu bewundern.
