MDC Smart Neck Taille 5 XS (Cou 14-22 cm) -Assortment

My dog was licking a cut on his leg, which was not healing. I firstly bought him a comfy doughnut collar from Amazon, but he could still lick his leg. I then bought him this smart collar, which is perfect. It is very light, comfortable, easy to fit and is the best type I have seen. At the delivery cost of £4.99, I also got next day delivery excellently packed, with no damage whatsoever. Please be aware of other sellers on Amazon, who first get your money for a cheaper version and charge you £4.50 for delivery and then send you an email saying due to virus the delivery takes an extra 7 days on top of their 7 days!

My dog needed a collar as he had a hot spot on his back and needed a collar for. Bought this and it cracked too easy. It ended up getting binned. The dog was walking too close to the wall.

This is a sturdy collar for use after a veterinary procedure or injury when you need to prevent your dog from worrying at stitches or scabs, or licking off ointment. Pixar nicknamed these collars the "cone of shame" (see  Up [DVD] [2009 ]) which you can understand from the dog's viewpoint - most don't like wearing them, but this provides about as much comfort and dignity (dognity?) as you can afford for your wounded pooch. It's semi-transparent so he still has some peripheral vision, and the edge is bound so it doesn't slice into your legs during the inevitable collisions. This size is well big enough for the largest breeds (I have an Irish Wolfhound) and tough enough to withstand being smashed into doorframes and table legs when he's irritable. The fixing is via plastic clips (you get some spares in case they fall out and get lost) and these have stood up well in use.

I like and dislike this cone. It was easy to clean which was a huge plus, easy to find my dogs size and also put on to him. However, his neck is big as he's an English Bulldog, but it meant the rest of the cone was huge, so his head looked tiny inside this giant cone, like a sunflower. I had to remove for play time, eating and drinking as none of that was possible with it being so big. Also, he knew how to get it off... The little clips would come flying off everytime he would try get it off against the wall, settee or anything else he could lol. However, it served its purpose and did a great job, but I really do not recommend for English Bulldog. I wouldn't buy this again.

Its pointless the clips are so weak that the dog had it on for less then 5 mins, she walk through the door and hit the door frame and broke the clips we had to use cable ties (they were loosely attached and she couldn't get to the sharper part plus filed them to remove any sharp part) did this to keep it on her for the night then went and brought a old fashioned one from the vets next day.

We purchased this for our Staffordshire bull terrier due to him scratching from his allergies.. it fits perfect, material is hardwearing and edges are soft. We will be using this overnight to try and deter him from scratching at his skin while we are in bed. Will update again over time but for now thank you. Customer service was really good. Kept me updated on the delivery due to times taking longer than normal which of course was expected at the moment. This wasn't really an issue for me but either way it was nice of you to email me and let me know so Thank you.

Best collar I've ever bought. Been used to keep my boy from scratching his eye whilst he had an ulcer which took a few months to heal.The vet provided collar split into sharp shards after a few sessions of tug with his sister and a joyful commando roll when out on a walk. This collar however, is more flexible. It did try and invert a couple of times which I had to pop back out but that left only a small white crease each time rather than any splits. And it did get a battering as an ulcer was not slowing him down.After 4 months of continuous use the black edging was pretty ratty and smelly despite cleaning it but the very same black edging is one of the reasons I liked it. It hurt way less when he kneecapped me with the cone and it was nicer against his neck.I didn't use the provided fastening things that came with it as he's a bit of a meat head and I couldn't get them right. I used industrial strength velcro which meant I could set the size required and no way was it budging no matter how hard he tried and he really did try. I had to buy a really large collar as his neck is chunky so the length was probably not overly great for his shorter muzzle but he adjusted eventually (or just ran harder to fit through small gaps and hoped the furniture would move)It's still intact now so I'm saving it just in case!

The clips on this collar are rubbish, they do pop out of the collar when it is bumped against things. My dog discovered this and would take off the collar when not being watched. I have had to use wire twists to keep it on. My dog has also been able to bend the collar and get to licking his wound so defeating the purpose of the collar. in all not as good as it first seemed and not worth the money.

Ich habe einen sehr ängstlichen Hund aber mit der Halskrause hat es geklappt da darum stoff ist und wenn sie damit ihrgentwo gegen kommt es nicht so laut ist . Danke

Unser Hund hatte sich durch Weizenprodukte den kompletten Kopf aufgekratzt, nichts hat geholfen weil er sich immer wieder kratzte.Mit der krause konnte alles schön abheilen und dadurch das es teilweise durchsichtig ist wurde unser Hund in seiner Sicht nicht behindert.

Idéal pour mon Bernois de 65 kg. Néanmoins nous avons revu le système de fermeture et remplacé les rivets par des sangles de sac à dos attaches rapides. ça a pris 15 minutes de couture mais le collier est tellement plus confortable que celui proposé par les vétos ! Les chocs répétés lors du passage des portes (normal vu le diamètre de la taille 5) faisait sauter les rivets. J'en ai d'ailleurs fait la pub à mon véto !!!

Super résistante enfin une que mon chien n'explose pas au bout de 5 minutes seul petit souci les petits clips de fixation en plastique qui ne tienne pas, j'ai mis des rilsans à la place et ça fonctionne très bien.

Leicht zu handhaben und guter Sitz. War für unseren Schäferhund ideal. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen, aber ist so stabil, dass ich sie aufheben kann.
