I am going to use this to keep my eye drops cold when I travel. I tested using a ice cube. It stayed cold over night.

My kid is a picky! Hot food is to be eaten.. hot.. this does the trick. I place hot water in the container for a few minutes while I prepare the food. This warms up the container prior to holding the hot food to keep it hot, longer. After I empty the hot water and place the hot meal in the container, this is then tossed in a lunch pail and dragged around I don't know how many bins and classrooms while my child is at school.. zero leakage! Easy for my child to manage, open and close safely- no issues! Easy to clean as well!

The good things: the color is great (we have a violet/lilac color), holds the heat really well, not super fat and fits into kid’s lunch bag well. Despite instructions, I’ve been washing it in the dishwasher - bottle on the 2nd shelf and lid on the top/3rd rack. I wouldn’t wash it on the bottom shelf. I understand that it probably won’t last as long that way, but convenience is important to me.The bad: the colors that touch the surface of jar leak onto it and don’t come off. So if you get something on it (for example, pasta sauce) clean it off right away.Overall: I’ll definitely buy another one or more of these in the future. The size is great, they keep the heat really well. I put boiling water into it for a few minutes before putting hot food. My child says that the food is still hot when she’s eating it 5.5 hours later. We’ve used it every day Mo-Fri over the last 2 months so far.

Love this cannister - it's the perfect size for a regular lunch box and it keeps food warm for my middle school kiddo. So far we've successfully sent ramen, nuggets, oatmeal, a quesadilla, pasta, and vegetable rice to school and kept it warm for lunch. Definitely "charge" the thermos for a few minutes prior to putting food in it. I just fill it with hot water and let it sit with the lid on before dumping the water out and then wiping out with a paper towel. For nuggets or quesadilla pieces, we found wrapping in foil or parchment paper helps keep things from getting soggy. No leaks experienced with the soups! Really happy with this purchase.

I can't speak for this thermos if you're eating a cassarole or anything with heavy sauces - I could see tomatos being an issue - but I currently use mine for breakfast burritos or other foods that come in a tortilla - and for that it works incredibly well. I preheat it with hot tap water while the food in question is microwaving, which it then keeps warm-ish for several hours; if I heat it up at 5:11 it's warm enough at 8:30. It's not quite long/large enough for the burrito, but it works well.

My 8yo daughter have been using this for 1 week now. She gave me feedback everyday so far about this container- each time it was good. Her lunch is always warm. I usually pack her lunch at 6am and she eats at 11:30am. This food jar is easy to clean on the inside and out with warm soapy water. I use a bottle brush on the inside and dish sponge to clean the outside. The food jar is just so cute and is just the right size for my 8yo. The material on the outside is really soft and velvety making the jar slip proof. This fits into her lunch bag very well in with her 16oz lilac MIRA bottle that she uses for water or juice . I will recommend to anyone who is thinking about purchasing. Great product line.Update 3/2/23Four years later we are still using this food jar.NO leaking issues.I put boiling water in, sit for 2-5 mins. pour it out, then put hot food as stated in instructions.Food is still very warm for lunch.

I love this thermos! It says it only keeps things hot for five hours but I made soup in the morning and it was still very hot six hours later. It's durable too.

Ravie, elle tient bien au chaud. J ai testée et après 6h c est toujours chaud. On a l impression que la capacité est minime mais pas du tout . Ma fille de 11ans en est enchantée pour ses repas à l ecole vue la situation exceptionnelle du au covid
