Joico Colour Endure Violet Shampoo - 300 ml

Have naturally blonde hair but highlight it during winter. This product keeps the brassy tones out. I only wash my hair with it once a week. Every time I do, I get comments from others how may hair looks great - it really does revive the original hairdresser job. I find that the shampoo does not spread well once applied to the hair. I have very thick hair which may be the issue. I tend to take 3 smaller blobs of the product, put one at the top of the scalp, one for the sides and one of the nape of the neck. Beware of getting any product into the eyes - stings like the devil! Also the cuticles become blue/purple for several days after. If this is an issue you you, you can use gloves. I also find that it dries out the hands a bit. Otherwise no complaints and it really does work!

However...on mine which is fairly gey and tinted blonde... not quite so good as my grey regrowth went a bit purpley........So.. very good at knocking out the yellow, brassy look, but maybe be carefull if you you have a lot of grey and colour that you want to tone. Good product just works differently on tinted/grey hair. Would be great on either/or but probs not both together as I said.

Definitely lifts it to near white! Loved this shampoo when I was blonde, it lifted the copper tones right out and if I felt edgy I would leave it in for 5-10 minutes and it'd give me lilac highlights! Comes out nearly black but made my hair so pretty, I love this product.

This product is amazing. After getting my hair coloured I didn't like it, felt it had a brassy tone to it. Bought this with no regrets. After one wash, mixed in with a little shampoo and left on for few minutes my hair looked brill. Like an ash blonde with golden highlights, very happy and it made my hair very soft and shiny. Will probably use once a week so maintain colour. It didn't stain like other purple shampoos do. Very pleased.

Helps keep brassy tones out of my hair and reduce the necessary frequency of toning. For best results I paint it into dry hair and leave it for 5 min before the shower.Leaves hair very dry. Be prepared to follow it up with a GREAT conditioner.My hair is bleached from brown to white: I use this twice a week.

I only use Joico shampoo and condition on my hair as recommended by my hairdresser. Love the fragrance and makes my hair feel so soft

Was recommended this shampoo by my hairdresser and have neve gone back to using anything else. I have blonde hair which was damaged over time but this shampoo takes away the yellow tones and has rescued my dry and damaged hair and I find works best with the conditioner.
