This is a birthday gift for precious family member. I hav'nt read it myself but have read so many of Max's books I know this one will be just as special

Always been intrigued by Jesus and wanted to know more about him, without having to face a reading of the whole bible.This book gave me that.I am even more a fan of Jesus now, thank you for the introduction :)

Nicely written

I read this book in one day. My first thought was that it is very American and is probably more aimed at new Christians. A good book to read if you want an explanation of the basics of the Christian faith and a good inspirational introduction to Jesus.

I noticed that there was too much fiction added into the stories relating to the bible in the early chapters of the audio book. This made the early chapters of the book somewhat uninteresting. I had to exchange the audiobook for another one.

This book brings self awareness and peace within.

I love Max's books and this one is especially helpful in knowing Jesus more deeply.

I chose this book because Max Lucado wrote it. I enjoy his writing style and, his knowledge of our Lord and the Bible is reputable. Max writes the way we talk using "down to Earth" plain simple language. He can clarify or explain scriptures in a way that makes them easy to understand. The Lord gave Max gifts for speaking and writing and he is using them for God's glory.I recommend this book to anyone who doesn't know much about Jesus, as well as those who already know our great Savior!

This is the most amazing book I've ever read!! I didn't even think to think of Yeshua in this way but it makes total sense that this is how he would be and it's all backed properly with Scripture. Reading this book before bedtime with my Bible helps me sleep better at night knowing that He's such a down to earth guy.

What a wonderful vision of Jesus! You just don’t want to put the book down! I love the scriptures h used in this book and the stories in his own life to relate to the life of Jesus! Get the book and go to your quiet place to enjoy the information in this book! You will have fun and learn more about the life of Jesus! Some chapters are light reading and others make you want more of Jesus.You can take a long time and make an outline for future reinforcement or go through the entire book in one or two seasons.
