Great addition to the original catan
One of the better expansions to catan. Adding a whole new aspect to the game!

Catan Expansion
A brilliant game with four different scenarios that can be played and so has a lot more possibilities in how to play the game than other expansions do.A note to add is that it is only compatible with settlers of catan made after 2007 as pre-2007 games don't have the board frame. You can buy the adapter kit to solve this problem.

Il gioco è arrivato perfetto, ma metto 3 stelle perché non pensavo che per poter usare l'espansione bisognasse avere l'espansione base de "I coloni di Catan" per 5-6 giocatori.

Nice expansion.
Got this 5-6 player expansion along with Catan Explorers and Pirates. I haven't got more than 4 players to try this out. I did play Explorers and Pirates and liked it. I'm sure I'll like playing this one too!This box did not come with the instructions. Instead, it had the 'Start Here' instructions from the base game. I downloaded it from the website...

Pretty awesome! Great Expansion/Extension!I've wanted to purchase this for years, and could *finally* afford it this year! YAY!So pumped. This is the combination of a few of my favorite things about Catan:Exploration, unusual trade items, interactions between teamwork and competition, etc.Quality:A few pieces off-center / defective, but still playable!I just emailed the Catan Shop to propose a credit / replacement for the defective / missing components I have in my box here.If they aren't able, I'll go the Amazon exchange / replace / credit route.I had the same off-center printing others have mentioned, but only on a few pieces and they're totally fine to still play with. Even with my OCD and Autism stuff, I'll be ok.I was missing the Resource Cards, and have a broken Brown Pirate Ship.I can possibly repair it myself, and will gladly do that if I'm given a credit or replacement for the defective pieces.Not a huge deal. I'm such a Catan fan that I really can't wait to use it regularly, in any condition.So glad to finally have this! I can start playing with it regularly as soon as this broken piece thing is worked out. Yay!
