Looks better as it gets closer to light-sources.
The way this K Cube looks on its own is very dependent on the lights in your environment, and the placement in that light.I purely bought this out of curiosity, the pictures on the listing make this look like a very cool desk-toy. In my experience so far, the cube looks about half as good as the pictures... you have to put the cube in some good lighting to get it to look like the advertised pictures. One star off for that.I'm taking another star off due to there being no stand as pictured in the images. The only extras you receive besides the cube is a white carrying bag (which also doubles as a nice dust/smudge remover.) No stand included.I'm sure someone else could use it for its intended purpose and be just fine with it, but from a complete looks standpoint, I don't like it.
