Recommendable
Having read all the reviews, I was almost put off buying this product by a couple of reviewers, with whom I can now say I entirely disagree.I wanted lawn-edging to keep the contents of a newly laid pebbled area from being scattered onto the lawn and into the mower blades. These edging strips have proved an excellent solution, They were easy to insert following the advised spade-use (I used an edging tool - being flat-faced with a curved 'cutting' edge it made a thinner 'trench' more easily than the curved face and squared-off blade of my spade) to prepare the row.The 10 pieces interlock, and are designed so that one can be well-started before it's neighbour is attached and both driven down. I used a short length of squared timber, laid along each partly inserted strip and the hammer applied as forcibly as required without risking damaging the edging. I used a hand-held 'sledge' hammer, mallet-sized but the squared metal head added it's own weight to the job.Very flexible, they followed the line of a curve I'd made in the pebbled area border. Speedily delivered and competitively-priced, recommendable.

Quite easy to put in the ground - the wooden pallet ...
Quite easy to put in the ground - the wooden pallet did help a lot. Having said that I am slightly dissapointed with the end result, mainly the top edge which is very wavy. I expected it to be straight. It could be that the lip on the top is too narrow - not strong eanough.

Great edging providing you take care
This has proven to be a solid and well made edging. I waited until the ground was nice and dry before installing and used a comination of digging a small trench and the use of a rubber mallet. No breakages and it looks great. Just ordered some more for other flower beds. Update, I have recieved my second order this morning and the ease with which it has gone in around my garden has made a brilliant difference to my garden. This is one of, if not, the best lawn edging I have used and with care when installing it is robust and blends in well with the overall colour of the garden. I haven't had the opportunity to see how it is with lawn equipment but hopefully it will stand up. I have already recommended it to my neighbour. This lawn edging has really transformed my garden, it has weathered nicely with a lovely grey tinge to the edges. The edging has also proven to be fairly robust in that it happily stands up for being hit with the strimmer and lawn mower. Fitting is simplicity and cutting to size is easy with a good sharp utility blade. I have found that with ceareful scoring it is possible to get a tighter radius on curves which has helped a great deal. I have made sure that I have got a stock of spares in so that when I accidently step on them and they break I can keep the place looking good. Many many thanks for a great product.

Didn't go deep enough in the ground
I liked how easy it was to put together and also the flexibility of the material, however, the pointy parts that go in the ground are no way long enough. So effectively, I could just lift the whole lot up. I ended up buying a different product in the end. I think this would be fine with very soft soil, but unfortunately was no good for me.

Read the reviews, then buy it
I researched and read reviews of a number of other edging solutions, before buying this. I needed to edge a lawn with an exceedingly stony border, and taking reviewers' advice, I reamed out a channel of appropriate depth for the edging (rather than trying to hammer in into the earth, which would only really be feasible with good, soft soil). This way I was able to ensure easy insertion, and the sections slotted together so easily that a 15 metre- long border was done in about two hours, including the preparation described. The edging is good and rigid but I was able to bend the last section to 180 degrees for aesthetic purposes. After insertion the soil border was packed back against the edging to an appropriate height. The appearance of the finished job is very pleasing. It is important to ensure that the top of the edging runs just below the lawn level. I kept it about 2cm below lawn level, and with my mower's grass box temporarily removed, I can mow just over the edge and don't have to use an edging trimmer.

Absolutely useless product.
Cheap, impossible to get into ground to edge border. falls down with slightest touch or wind. Total waste of money. They were not cheap. could have got better product in Poundland.

Brilliant!
Haven't used this product before or anything like it. Bought the value 10-pack which arrived yesterday, as expected. Hubs just set it into place around the lawn at the front of the house and it looks great. He says it was easy to install and has just asked me to order more for the back garden! Fair pricing, great product, reliable delivery, and reordering immediately so...highly recommended :-)

Split to easily
This lawn edging was discounted from it's RRP. But it could work out very expensive if you have a decent sized lawn to protect. On two occasions the interlocking connections split whilst inserting them together into the ground. Although the length of edging was known, it would have been more economical if the sections had been longer. The packaging it arrived in, what was left, was a joke. One year on. More have split. Not recommended for anything but light use.
