I’m taking this incredible hat on the cruise with me. I’m determined to protect myself from the sun and I’m going to use it as a sun umbrella to keep my hands free for my beverages and eating my breakfast and walking around and connecting with people. I can use this for sunshine or rain and I’m also going to use it when I go walking around the block and it’s raining. I just find this to be the most empowering gift for myself, rain or shine. I’m going to be confidently covered.

Ordered this hat to sit at football games in blazing summer heat to watch my daughter cheer. This product is so flimsy it started falling apart as I took it out of the box. I never got around to putting it on my head because the little pieces that fell off actually held the ends of the hat together. This is a product I would expect at a dollar store as a toy for a child. This product should not be sold on Amazon. I couldn’t even refold it to put back in the box as pieces were falling off as I tried to bend it back into some shape to put it back in the box. My kids were laughing hysterically because it fell all to pieces in my hands! I just gave Amazon nine dollars for something I never had the chance to use.

I think this item is great for hot days, But not very good on a rainy day when it's very windy. Also it doesn't last very long before it starts to fall apart. I think it would be a great item if you guys can figure out how to make the band stay on your head without falling apart. Also the rods actually hurt on your head, It needs more cushion.

My biggest complain is during windy storms the strap would slide about impairing my viability

Wish it was just an inch or two bigger but it really is a hands free umbrella.You’ll look a little odd wearing it but it’s perfectly comfortable and stable.Haven’t tried it in the wind although i imagine that could be a problem. But so far so good.
