A little book that packs a punch
I wasn’t expecting this book to be great, however, it has a lot of treasure inside. I read this along with a couple of service advisors and it was insightful as well as encouraging. You reflect and rate yourself and then evaluate what you can do to improve. Both advisors told me they wish they had this book sooner. Buy it!

Must read for service advisors and shop owners
This book is the holy grail for service advisors and shop owners. In a short, concise, easy to read format, it is full of such valuable information to keep you at the top of your game wether you are new to the field or a seasoned professional. This book is not a guide on how to sell the work, it is a guide/reminder of customer service and self improvement that in turn will make you a high performing service advisor.

Great knowledge for a starter or a seasoned vet
I read this book and it has great up to date pointers on how to be a service advisor. I was an advisor for over 10 years and most of the information in this book, I wish I had on day one. It shows you how the car business is developing, service mainly and how to adjust with the times. It has a lot of self reflection and great advice on how to deal with new customers in these times. Great stuff!

Best Introduction to Fixed Ops
This book was an excellent introduction to the fixed operations side of the automotive industry. I have a staff of three service advisors and I am going to make sure that all three of them read this book in its entirety. And for somebody who is a 22-year veteran of this business, it was an excellent read that reiterated all of the key, but basic elements of being a top performer in service.

Great book to reset with
Kieran Stack has written a great book that any advisor, no matter how seasoned, can benefit from. I’ve got several years in the auto industry, and this book, while a quick read, has quite a few insightful bits that made me probe my processes, procedures, and experiences, reevaluating some of the conceptions I have as an advisor. Worth every penny, pick up a copy and take a read through it

Must have for anyone working in the service department
Kieran is spot on with this book. Weather you are a hyperformer now or wanna be a high-performer this will give you the edge to being that much better. This book needs to be in the hands of everyone in the service department and referred to over and over again for years to come.

If you want to stand out as one of the best service advisors you need this book.
Spend an hour making yourself better. This book will help you find things within yourself that you did not know you had. I have been in fixed operations for over 20 years. Spent tons of money on training materials. This is the best money you can spend on yourself.

It’s about 30 pages and half are blank filler
There isn’t a single bit of useful information. I’m a senior service advisor for a premium brand for 4+ years, I bought it to see if there’s any tips I could use to share with a new guy I’m training who’s struggling. He could have wrote a better book after 2 months.Half the pages are “this is for your or reflect on what you learned”. Pure dribble. How about a chapter on dealing with complaints, telling customers their part is on back order and your out of loan cars, increasing labour sales but recommending tracking etc, a useful sample script for a vhc call. Nothing related to the job.
