Nite Ize Spotlit LED Spot Light

We got these lights to use with our two Jack Russells on dark evening walks.A metal carabiner fixes to the dogs collars with one click. The lights are a little hard to switch on at first, but when you get used to switching them on they are easy to use and very bright. Clicking the light once gives a constant light while clicking twice makes it flash blue.The light is bright enough to see the dogs over some distance or when they disappear into bushes.We have used these light for the past 3 months nearly every night. We have one on constant and the other flashing and have just had to replace the battery on the constant one. However the flashing one is still going strong.Overall the light is of good solid construction and thus far has withstood rain, a lot of mud and a terrier partial to jumping into water. For anyone waking their dog in the dark, I would definitely recommend this light.Delivered was very quick.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this light to clip onto the dogs collar at night, never had one before but needed to know he wasn't going towards the neighbours broken fence at the bottom of our VERY long garden.... (was broken a short while ago in the high winds) .... he knows not to go through the hole in daylight because he knows I can see him.... but think he might make a crafty break for freedom in the dark!! Used it the last two nights and must say.... it is VERY bright, and I can just shout him back if he wanders in the wrong direction! (he's a very well behaved staffie!) Obviously be great when we go for walks in the dark as well... have put a short video on, done in the kitchen with blinds shut... in the daytime, to prove how bright it is! Highly recommended.

You need to make a slight modification to this item for it give many years of use - I know, I've had about four of these now! There's a metal prong in the battery compartment which keeps the batteries under tension and holds them in place. It's not spring loaded and with repeated insertions of batteries and pressing the light to operate it, the prong loses tension. You need to cut a strip of card or foil about 1cm by 4mm and insert the card underneath the prong so the prong can't be 'flattened' by the batteries. This maintains a nice tight fit and works perfectly (not too tight or the light won't work). I've also found putting a very thin sliver of tape or card around the circumference of the battery compartment keeps it snug in the housing. These 'mods' are easy to do and the light will last for years - it is easily the best light of it's kind on the market and the integrated clip is a great idea. My dog crashes through hedges and is always writhing around and it has stood up this and more! Only four stars as I think the manufacturers should include some kind of 'kit' to save making your own.One last thing: please don't use it on flashing mode whilst attached to your dog's collar. I can't think of anything more irritating as they are really bright. They work better - and are much more visible - attached to a harness and enable you to track your dogs whereabouts. During darkness they appear to be ghostly globes which float around the night air of their own volition. This is very amusing when passers by don't realise they're attached to my dog!!!

Bought for our dog's collar. Friends in the park liked it so much we had to buy them another one. Good bright light. Can choose from the light being on steady, or flashing. Can be seen across the park.This is a good alternative to having one of the flashing all around collars. Obviously its not quite as bright as one of those, but a good product.We have changed the batteries once, but it is easy to do. That's the only thing I would say, that the batteries run down reasonably quickly. Still a worthwhile product to buy though in my opinion.

I purchased this in January, to replace one bought from a pet shop, which finally gave up the ghost after 3 years. When the light arrived it had been badly packed and was on when we unpacked it, and dying fast so the first thing we had to do was go and buy some new batteries. Once that was done the light was very good, bright and easily seen. However over the past couple of weeks i have noticed that it sems to have switched itself off. This could have been caused by another dog playing with mine, but two days ago when i tried to switch the light back on, it lit but the minute I took my finger off the button it went dead and as a result is completey useless. I am completely unimpressed by this and would not recommend it to anyone.

Had one for years and it was fine on my coat. Recently we put it on dog's collar and it lasted 6 months before a solder failed and it's now dead. Was great for walking the dog until it died.Originally gave it 5 starts, now demoted to only three stars. Also be aware that the thickness of batteries impacts how easy it is to switch on and off - remedied with a bit of metal foil, but can be annoying!

This is a fantastic wee light. I bought this for my dog so he is more visible on dark mornings and evenings. It's very bright and has an option of a flashing mode and static. It seems to be waterproof too as my dog has it on his collar when he goes swimming and it sill works perfectly. It's a lot more sturdier than some other lights for dogs. I don't worry about losing this one! Definitely worth paying that little bit extra for to save buying replacements for the cheaper versions eveeytime they come lose of the collar.

These are great now that the nights are closing in and you're inevitably caught walking the dog after dark. As others have already said: if anything, the white variant is too bright (it very easily affects your night vision). This blue one - however - is virtually perfect. It's very easy to keep track of our hound as she runs off into the undergrowth after dark and is very easy for motorists and cyclists to spot long before they reach us. I've not yet worked out how to change the battery, but after two months of solid use it's not showing any sign of needing replacing yet anyway so I've got a little while to work that one out! Very happy, and would be happy to recommend to others.

These work great. I use them on both my dogs and are great for myself and others to see them at night. The colors are bright & allow me to even spot my pooch when he climbs behind our big rocks in the yard. I love that this rotates colors and can clip on to almost any collar or harness. I move it from harness to collar to even their winter coats w no problem. I like the color changing option much more than just the white lights by Nite Ize. I use it every night & the battery held up seemingly well, but now I have to change it. Granted I’ve used it daily for at least a month, so maybe I’m expecting to much out of a battery. We received multiple compliments on how well they look and have recommended them myself to others.

Me gusta que no es un collar que dependa del tamaño de la mascota sino una luz que se adapta a cualquiera de mis perros y así los identifico fácil, buena intensidad de luz, se ven resistentes (compre 2) y el tiempo dirá
