This has obviously been re-issued as an attempt to update for post-Brexit and post-covid. But in fact it is merely the 2019 edition with minimal updates and large numbers of typos. The only major change has been to remove details of admission charges, presumably to prolong its life, although the charges that remain are already out of date. Very disappointing from a product that is usually first rate.

Hard to work out what was worth seeing from this guide book. Pages and pages on the ancient history of the sights in St Mark's Square, yet just a couple of tiny box-outs of useful information like transport, the character of different places, etc. No walking tours, just one day itinerary. In its top 10, 4 of the locations weren't even in Venice (Verona, Padua etc). Totally useless as a guidebook.

What’s the point of getting a map of Venice when it only covers the Centre? All the other islands are missing as are the outskirts. Free tourist maps are better. Don’t waste your money
