No good
Turbo looks good with the black housing but that’s about the only good thing about it. I primed the turbo before installing/running it, started the car and let it idle for a good 20mins or so then after that I took it for a drive. I was hardly giving it any throttle and right away all I could smell was burning oil and I barely hit 5-6 psi and I hear a metal on metal screeching noise from the compressor wheel hitting the inside of the housing….this was all within the first 10-15 miles on it. I popped the hood and you can see the compressor wheel wobbling all over…..Update: I contacted seller to try and get a replacement under warranty and they told me to first remove the turbo and clean it and see if that fixed the problem….then they said maybe I should replace my air filter and see if that fixes the problem….SERIOUSLY??! Don’t seem like they know to much about how turbos and engines work….smh
