Works very well after being fixed.
Like many Chineseum tools this is a solid, basic machine that works great after you've spent the time fixing it. Spending twice or three times as much for a more setup unit wasn't worth it, so sawed off the offending brackets with an angle grinder and adjusted everything straight with a hammer and all is well. Once adjusted it works fine.

Ideal machine for model engineer
I needed a band saw for my model engineering, I nearly didn't buy this because of some bad reviews on the Web, I'm glad I took no notice as this is a good little machine, easy to put together (about an hour and I'm disabled) the only thing I would say is the manual needs to be better, the first thing I cut with this was a 100mm round aluminium bar, it did it with ease, you do need a decent cutting / cooling fluid, other than that I recommend the item and seller, good communication and fast delivery.
