This works quite well, I'm impressed by it. A bit tricky to set up at first, but it becomes nice and easy by the end of it.Pros:-Really does "levitate"-Does light up-Comes with an adapter and does not require batteries-Simple to set up once you try it a couple of timesCons:-This is a good bit smaller than I expected or hoped for-The asking price (without the $5.00 coupon of this writing) is a bit too much for what you're getting-The printing on the globe is near indecipherable without assistance-The built-in light is nothing to write home about and seems to be added just because-The build quality feels a bit hollow and iffy but not dangerousOverall, it's a fun desk toy and gets your kids fascinated by it. I do think having to plug it in is nice if you don't want to waste batteries, but I do have to wonder what it'll do to your electric bill over time. Don't plan on having it work when unplugged, it'll automatically stop levitating and you could have a bad time.It's a nice display, but don't break your bank over it.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a cool item Haven't seen nothing like it before. Great for a boys room or office. My boys find it amusing. Make sure to use stick it comes with to get it going you have to use it on top of globe to set it.

I know the globe would float before I got it, but seeing it with my bare eyes feels magical! It is such a great decorative piece for my living room. This little globe seems to get everyone's attention!

I really like this floating globe. It is a lovely statement piece and draws plenty of interest from casual observers. If you place this on a front office desk, you will be sure to have clients mesmerized by this floating globe. It is easy to put together and is ready to go almost immediately right out of the box. Bought myself one several years ago and love it so much, bought this for my grandson. He loves it too. Watching the globe float in the air, seemingly by magic, never gets old.

Underwhelmed would be the best description of this item. The globe is a little larger than a baseball with a protruding metal ring around the center. The C stand looks kind of cool but the globe looks cheap. I'm actually thinking about spraying it with dulling spray because I think the shine on it makes it look cheap, that and the metal ring. If you're thinking this will be a good educational toy for a young one you need to realize that the writng for most of the countries is tiny...I mean, get out a magnifying glass to read it. It's very easy to float the globe which I've seen some of these levitating lamps that can be really frustrating, not this one. The LED lights are fixed color and cannot be turned off or dimmed. You plug it in, float it and that's it, no controls of any type. The product page says you can blow on it and make it spin and yes, that works and it will spin for couple of minutes. Otherwise it simply hangs there.
