My mum lives next door to us, so we were looking for something that she could use to call us when she needed help, or in case of a fall or other mishap. This calling system is ideal. It's very reasonably priced, and works across the 20 metres or so between my mum's bedroom and the receiver which is in my sitting room. (Our houses are not attached, btw)We do a test every Sunday lunchtime just to be sure that the system is in working order - it's a small price to pay for peace of mind.

happy has a long range, inside and out, Red light is a bit bright on the receiver unit so had to stick a paper label over it.. but can get false alarms as the button is not deeply recessed, so can be activated by mistake, I added a small rubber washer to it now its fine and work without the false push when mum bend down or sits down on a chair.

This alarm is way too quiet to be of any use, plus it is mains only, so any carer would not be able to carry it around, so really of no use as a carer alarm...There is also no means of adjusting or increasing the volume ....This is quite expensive for the poor quality, so would not recommend..

Fantastic!!!My dad lives across the road( at least 500 yards) away and It picks up signal anywhere in my house. My dad had a stroke and this was quickest, easiest device and subscription free 😊!!!Love the fact there is also a spare transmitter for my uncle to also have as he has autism and lives with my dad, it saves him having to leave the house or use the phone!Well recommended, 5* product

It's quieter than our doorbell and works ok in a small property but would be too quiet for anywhere bigger than a two up two down.

The receiver being mains only makes no sense. For the carer who is going to be moving around the house doing other jobs and not being able to bring receiver with them is beyond me...impractical.

I ordered one of these initially to see what they were like. I needed to be able to hear when someone needed help across a very large garden area, this exceeded my expectations, the ring was very loud and it is perfect for the job.

So easy to set up. We use ours as an emergency alarm for frail family member who now sleeps and lives on our ground floor. It works.

Device work as described. Awesome response with “strong audible alarm” even when signal has to travel to different room separated by cement block walls. I had two emitters one on bathroom and the other at bed room . I tested monthly for alarm function and emergency drill practice with my wife. Fully recommend!!

Cheaply made .. poor reception.... like a child's toy.. not for important elderly care.

It was hard to understand how to set it up. Once we figured it out the thing works great.

We purchased these for my mother while she had trouble getting in and out of bed. The receiver was placed at the other end of her double-wide trailer and sent a very clear signal when she pushed the button for assistance. It was loud enough to be heard during the night. Definitely worth the money!
