Quite good quality, looks classy. Got a 12-14 for my tall 10yo as her usual clothes are 12+ but was slightly too long. Very comfortable fit and worked well for her school party. Will probably fit her even better next year tbh.Separate Chest band and attached waist band lined with light foam to keep stiff. Dress is soft length of satin with no rough bits on the inside. The blue shawl is attached by two pairs of soft elasticated sequin arm bands (that do not cut off circulation). Head band consists of gold beads six strands on each side running down the side, and a jewel at the forehead.Mild Negatives: Headband is torturously tight but we tried stretching out a bit all day and could wear it for a few mins at a time. Beads came off from band and had to be resewn tightly.

I like the cape, dress and collar around the neck. Headband was a bit too tight but I understand it must fit most of the children and my daughter's head is quite big :) The only issue is with beads hanging down from the headband. Not properly stitched and I needed to use all my not impressive tailoring skills to make it stay and not fall off :) Still, I would order it again!

This is a wonderul costume! I purchased the 6-8years for my petite 7 year old. It arrived the very next day with amazon prime (a god send). As you can see from the picture, it fit really well, with room to grow. I did have to take the hem up a good 3 - 4 inches but my girl is quite small. The costume itself is well made and such a bargain. For the low price i was surprised by the quality actually. It really did look better than I expected. The dress itself is a thin, stretchy material and flows nicely. The sequence on the arm & wrist bands did annoy her a little but I just trimmed the edges. I didn't mind making the minor lterations because it really does look fab. She said it was very comfortable otherwise. She won best costume in the whole school! She felf like a queen in it. My daughter needed a costume for "Heroes Day" at school. She decided that anyone woman who could unite and bring prosperity and peace to a country bankrupt and riven by civil war fitted the bill. I think the fact that Cleopatra managed this whilst simultaneously being a by-word for looking fabulous may have carried some weight in her seven year old mind... The fact that my daughter bears what we now realise is a striking resemblance to our current popular image of the lady in question probably swung the balance against my suggestion of Rosalind Franklin (death notice for DNA, some mocked up X-Ray crystallography images...sorted!).We picked this costume on-line, and it arrived the following day. It is an absolutely gem of a costume. It really does look fantastic on, and my daughter has never been so thrilled with a shop-bought costume before. Top tip is that snazaroo face-paints do a paint in the exact same blue which made for serendipitously matching eyeshadow.She looked wonderful, and was thrilled. An brilliant bargain!She is a reasonably tall seven year old and the fit was perfect, I reckon it will be worn for a good few years. There is definitely potential for slightly scary Halloween mummy modifications, and any Monster High parties.A great purchase.

My daughter is 8 and ordered the 8-10, perfect fit with plenty of room to move about in, the details in the dress and the accessories are fantastic for the price, highly recommend and was perfect for world book day

‘Bookweek’ has arrived, which means children can head to school dressed up as their favourite book character. It also implies that there are always 15 Harry Potters running around and even more Hermione’s, 10 Peter Pans and 5 Mad Hatters.Luckily this year our daughter got inspired by the classics after we read the very tragic, young readers version of Anthony and Cleopatra, that she was quite impressed with. This costume that we found on Amazon looked fairly unique and suitably elegant. It also matches her recent Egyptian study theme from school. The recipient was very pleased, to such an extend that she started to wear the dress as much as possible ahead of book day.The costume fits our slender but tall 8-year old quite well. Although the 4 elastic arm bands that keep the veil in place are very wide, more the size of a grown-up’s arm. So we had to fix that with some clips. As expected, the dress seems to be of decent quality meant to-look-nice-but-not-to-last. Therefore the fabric is a bit flimsy and thin. As consequence and because its currently winter, she will have to wear something underneath it. .And it remains to be seen for how many dress up sessions it will last. We at least experienced the common issue with one of the glitter bead strings coming loose from the head dress while putting it on for the first time. So this required a tiny bit of DIY to correct that. But then during the dress up event at school, another 6 strings came off.. (that she luckily salvaged and so that it could be glued back later on).Howver the main issue with this dress is that it lacks Cleo’s poisonous snake!! So I felt obliged to order an appropriate rubber snake substitute on Amazon as well. Also don't forget to make an effort to replicate the typical Egyptian eye makeup - we used face paint to get it right.Despite the few issues with the dress it looks really well, so much that our daughter stood out at school in originality and elegance. The dress attracted favourable comments from both teachers and other parents.

Ho comprato questo costume di carnevale per la mia bambina di 7 anni e mezzo.l'Ordine è arrivato in anticipo. Il costume è fatto molto bene. Parlo naturalmente non tanto della tunica che confermo essere leggermente trasparente che ci stà ma che tanto verrà usata con sotto un dolcevita rosa, sono fatti molto bene sia il collo che si mette sulle spalle che la decorazione in vita che il velo da mettere nelle braccia.Molto carina e fatta bene anche la fascia per la testa.Tutto ok consiglio l'acquisto.

Sieht fantastisch aus, wir sind super zufrieden. Top Preis Leistung... keine dieser billig Verkleidungen. Meine 10 jährige passt perfekt rein. Stirnband ist wirklich etwas eng, kann aber über Nacht gespannt und ausgeleiert werden oder als Kette tragbar.
