This mat is exactly what I wanted - big enough to catch most of the food which my baby discards over the side of his food tray, easy to clean, durable for lots of use and neutral so that it does not clash with the rest of the dining room. I wanted something which I could leave down most of the time, as I have a bad back so it helps to not have to keep taking it up and putting it back down before each meal. I also wanted a round mat so that I would not need to keep smoothing down corners. So far it ticks all these boxes! As my baby grows I will use it as a splatter mat for crafts to save the carpet from paint and goodness knows what else! It is a plastic mat and not a rug, but this is good as it simply wipes clean and the plastic seems really good quality rather than thin and flimsy. I am very pleased with this mat and will continue to use it for a long time.

This thing is saving me a lot of money by making sure we don't lose our security deposit on our rented apartment after we move out. We have an energetic seven month old who loves throwing food around and this thing is large enough to catch it all. Easy to clean, not ugly, and also works as a table cloth for painting etc.

The floor mat is a perfect size for under the highchair (my son rarely manages to drop food so it doesn't fall on the mat!) as I found most of the floor mats on the market were much smaller. It is also lightweight and machine washable. This is the second one of these that I purchased. Before purchasing this one, I used a waterproof tablecloth when the first one was in the wash and found it much more difficult to use. I recommend this to anyone with a toddler hoping to keep their floors clean!

Perfect size to fit under my 3 year olds chair / surrounding area. Wipes clean and feels quite robust considering the how thin it is.

Good quality. Easy to clean. Protects surfaces and floors when the kid is making a mess with painting all over the place. I would recommend it.

Size is good and fits well under our BabyBjorn high chair. Easily wiped and I've washed by hand in a bucket of warm soapy water. It certainly protects the carpet from food missiles which is a frequent occurrence! I imagine that it will also be good for messy play but we haven't tried it yet.

Bought this mat a few years ago & needed another to go under a play table - was really impressed it was still available - its a great size for a very reasonable price - I have used the first one so many times under the high chair & when slightly grubby have washed it in the washing machine - it is as good as the day I first bought it

I looked forward to having this product as my son has made a mess of our carpet for far to long. First impressions were that it looked ok, if a little plain (despite the stripes). It was a decent size, though i would have liked it a bit bigger.Anyway, we set out to test it, so i placed my boy on it with a bowl of rice and some tomato sauce. As usual he ended up puting half the bowl on the mat. On trying to wipe the food off, i noticed the tomato sauce stain. No problem i thought, i'd just add a little soap to the cloth and it should come right off. Unfortunately, this did't happen. After a single use, it looks like we have have had it for over a year. Big shame!It is made of a fabric that feels a bit like PVC, and it's supposed to be waterproof, so a big surprise that it should stain.

This is the second I bought to help protect the area around my toddler’s easel. The first one is used for meals. The size is great to provide ample coverage but isn’t so big that it feels like you’re laying down a tarp. It’s been easy to clean. Also like that the design is simple and understated, fits in our home.

I've been using this for about 3 months to protect the carpet from all the food my almost 1-year-old son drops, and I have no complaints whatsoever. I use it under our high chair and the size is perfect. It catches all the food my son drops. Lately, he's been trying to use a spoon to feed himself and often times he ends up throwing food all over by swinging the spoon too hard, but it still catches everything. After a messy meal, I simply remove the high chair, roll up the mat with all the food, walk to the trash can and dump it all off. When there's stain, I wipe it with a wipe and it cleans very nicely. For crunchy food that got stuck, I recommend using the Boogie wipes. Every couple days I throw it in the washing machine and dryer (cold water, low dryer setting) and it comes out perfectly. It is also very light weight and folds up pretty compactly, so you could totally tuck this in a pouch and take it along when you know you're going to be eating at someone's house. Recommended to my sister and she loves it for her almost 3-year-old too.
