Great value
I spend a lot of time shopping around for bargains. I was looking for something to put in the car for my doggy to see out of the window, but not slip when the car made sharp stops and moves. He is a little fellow. This cushion is perfect. It keeps him balanced because it is fabric. The cover on the cushion is quality and washes so well. I love that it has the zippered cover to wash. He likes that the cushion is sturdy, but comfortable. I challenge you to find this quality of cushion at this price anywhere. Believe me I have done the shopping for you. I very highly recommend this cushion. I purchased another for his crate.

Dog is in heaven.. He loves it.
I don't comment often and I was hesitant to toss 60bux for a dog bed online.. BUT.. I have a 100lb Rot/Shepherd mix/ He basically looks like a big German Shepherd. He's about 8 years old and getting beat up and tired. Before he just had a cheap stuffed bed. This one is basically where someone took a 6 "(not sure) memory foam mattress, cut it in 3rds, and made 3 dog beds out of it. I don't know if the review shows the size I bought, but it was a XXL I think, The biggest one I think at like 44x35"... It takes up some space but the next size down would not have covered the same, although it may have worked for him with feet hanging over. With this one, essentially he can stretch out in the middle and have a little room on all sides.. And he does get right in the middle and I think he can tell it stabilizes the weight disbursement for his comfort. The cover is thin, but nice with a soft top that probably wont fare well after too many washes. But that's about once every 6 months come on. And then you could make yer own cover if it wears out... The reason I say this is because the Foam insert is nice high grade mem foam. Even when I step on it as a 300lb man its pops right back up. Keep in mind when he is laying on it there is no compression visible - he's clearly 6 inches off the ground. But the bottom line is that when you walk into the room you really have to go over and see if he is still breathing... He is just knocked out like I have never seen before.. 5 stars for SOFT/ 5 Stars for Durable/ 4 Stars for easy to clean only cause I forecast that the cover wont take that many washes. But you could take it off and wash it 2wice a year and get at least 2 years out of this still retaining great condition. Pretty solid investment. Anyone writing poorly of this product is either a shill, or perhaps got an inferior version. Who knows but this is a good one we got.

Who's a good girl? WHO'S A GOOD GIRL? I am, apparently.
I had no issues with these taking their proper shape and full height after opening them. They do come compressed and folded. Just give them some time, let them lay flat somewhere, and every so often readjust the seams and corners of the cover to give the foam inside a chance to "climb". (Heck, it was even cold in my house when they arrived - I was afraid I would need to use a blow dryer or something, but nope.)My dogs are verrrrrry happy. I have two dogs and bought two "size large" beds in the tan colour with the sherpa top. One dog (auburn coloured) is on the larger side of "medium" (and quite muscular), and the other (blue merl patterned) is more on the smaller end of "large" (but a bit chubby from not being youthfully active anymore). If you can follow that. I don't know their weights off hand. The large beds are a good size for them. The larger of the two dogs has developed arthritis in his hind legs, the poor old man. The last set of beds we had, he kept trying to "fluff up" (they were cheap thin single-layer foam beds). He would rearrange them like you see people do with pillows (bunching them up, shoving them under their head, etc), and often would snag both beds to do it, leaving the smaller dog to go bed-less. He has felt no need to "fluff" these beds. He just plops down and passes out.I looked around for something that would be thicker than their last beds, as well as be able to hold up not-so-light-weight dogs without having them sink down in the middle. So, to me, that meant foam, not fluff-filled. I looked at sooooo many foam mattresses, even went out to pet stores to try out the various types. After messing around with various ones, it was decided that "egg crate foam" was out. Just out. Too much "give". So, we were down to various solid foams. Those have a lot of variances. Some too firm, others too squishy. So, this really made it difficult for us when thinking about possibly ordering online (we have a budget and stores were just too expensive).I read through all the reviews of the different brands and styles... narrowed my search until I finally weeded everything else out and ordered these. My dogs couldn't be happier with me. I am a good girl. Yes, I am. A very good girl. They make sure to let me know that. The beds are taller than any they were used to (that weren't fluff filled) but not difficult to get onto, firm enough to hold their weight, but soft enough to "give" under them *just* enough. They don't sink down too low, they don't wind up touching the hard floor through the mattress, and the beds don't feel like a brick under them (heck, my 1&1/2-year-old grandbaby loves sitting and laying down on these, they're so comfy). I swear, it has become impossible to get the larger dog to get up off of them. Some nights I do have to ask him to move a bit, as the mattresses *do* slide around on the wooden floor a wee bit, and can block the doorway of where they sleep. Used to be, he would get up immediately when asked to, so I could move the old beds. Not so much anymore. He's far too comfortable, and too deeply asleep, that he just can't be bothered with my silly human request.Very good beds, bought by a very good girl, for her very good boys.

Great foam! Not so great cover.
When I read reviews of this bed, I saw most people say the foam is great and the cover gets shredded. It is also NOT waterproof. Who wants a pee/liquid/anything soaked foam bed? Not me! Seems like it would be permanently smelly! I read reviews of all the orthopedic beds on Amazon and this seemed like it had the best foam for the price, so I ended up ordering this along with a standard size waterproof pillowcase (see other reviews). This combination works great! It did arrive a bit chemical smelling and compressed. The cover is also thin and see through. Not a problem, just give it a day to come to full shape and air out and put a pillowcase on it. I originally purchased it for the plastic pet kennel, but the dimensions were off (my fault) and I didn't account for the 4" thick material taking up too much head room, so I ended up leaving it on the floor. My main problem is that my dog does not like this bed, but I confirm that it's very comfortable to sit on. I conclude the foam is great if the bed was made for a small dog but a full sized human sitting on it doesn't flatten the foam. Seemed like too much effort to send it back, and it's actually very well made for the price, so I'll just continue sitting on it while I wait for my dog to like it.

Great bed!
We got this bed for our dog a few days ago. We were looking for something was was comfortable, large enough and washable and this checks all 3! When the bed arrived, it needed at least a day to “fluff up” but now it’s study but comfortable. My dog is 100 lbs and the XL is more than enough space for him. Great value for money!

Buena opción para perros mayores
The media could not be loaded.

Extremely disappointing
This dog bed is extremely thin, not firm enough, and it does not provide any type of orthopaedic support. The cover is also too big for the foam inside so it sags around giving it an unappealing, frumpy look.It is completely unlike the picture presented on Amazon where it appears as a thick, firm bed with a tight cover. It is also not at all as it was described on the site.Definitely not worth it if what you are looking for is a thick, firm bed.

Great Support
If you are looking for good support for your old dog, this is the dog bed to get. I bought a couple styles and they are okay but this one is a great dense foam bed.
