The Sims 3 is yet another exciting installment that will take over your life.
Like with any game from Sims Bustin' Out onwards, this will take over your life, got something planned to do that day? Don't switch this amazing game on because you won't get anything done! The features from the PC version have been cleaned up, the graphics are better and there are so many more options to choose from.Extra features:Better town map.More options for wall paper, paint, flooring etcGame is more realistic now.People will actually come to your door.No lag and the game doesn't stick in places.Bugs and glitches are fixed.Easier to save.More control options. The only problem I had was with the amount of controls it was a big switch from PC to PS3 versions but I got used to it very quickly you just have to explore the options and check the manual if needed but you pick it up soon enough. I have the PC, 3DS AND 360 versions as well and this is by far the better option due to the graphics, the quality and all above mentioned. The controls are MUCH easier than on Xbox I gave up on that version because it was just too difficult to use and there were still bad glitches so PS3 is definitely the way. It's an amazing game, I can't fault it and for the price it's incredible. Just so addictive I love it. Recommended to anyone who loves the Sims!!

God complex much?
Do you aspire to play god? You can with this game. You create your character(s) at the start, chose a place to live, and then away you go. You choose career, aims, goals, make friends and enemies, you can explore the area and go into town, an improvement over past Sims games. A nice twist to this version is "Karma". You can build up points by doing good or bad goals you are set, these points in turn can unlock more items and abilities within the game.As before if a single Sim you can have relationships and work towards your family, or if your someone finally gets too much for you walk them into a room remove the door and let nature take it's course.I could go on and on but if you know past Sims you pretty much know how this will be.The controls on this version are as good as you'll get on a console, graphically it's great and there is a good fluidity, not too much interruption between loads and saves. All in all, a very good update to a classic game.

The best sims game
The Sims 3 is probably my favourite Sims game. I played the first game on PC and loved it, played The Sims 2 on the PS2 and The Sims 3 now on PS3. (I now have The Sims 4 for Mac).Contrary to most folk, I actually really enjoyed playing The Sims on the Playstation. It definitely is a whole other experience than on PC, but I got used to it.I now have The Sims 4, and so far The Sims 3 is my favourite purely because it appears they've dropped a lot of features that The Sims 3 had.Great game overall, one of my all-time favourites!

keep them sims happy
It does what he says on the tin. Sims living life. They are like pets. Just feed them exercise them and let them chase sticks and they will live short but happy lives. Once you start playing it can lure you into trying to make their lives just a little bit better.

my favourite sims game to date
Ok so there are a lot of improvements over the sims 2. First off children are back in the game now(why they got taken out in sims 2 in beyond me, makes no sense) and you can now experience a full life cycle like the pc version. Also like the pc version you can now create multiple floors. The character customisation is also better than ever, with the new traits system adding a lot of variety, though I'm not sure how much impact the traits have in game...I've noticed some unique dialogue options, unique actions, some have more impact than others. For example I haven't noticed the innappropiate trait having much of an impact, but the tidy stat means a sims will clean things automatically always, and get a unique action option to clean things until pristine. The game reverts back to it's original format in one aspect of it's controls however, in that you can't take direct control of sims anymore, but apparently you can in the pc version still...why? I get this is meant to be a pc game primarily, with pretty much all expansions on pc only, pc getting more features and features sooner, but surely this would benefit console gamers more? And it was in sims 2 so it can be done. But anyway it's not a big complaint as although I prefer sims 2 method of direct control I still like the cursor control too. Apart from that a lot of the controls have been shifted about, such as how you control time and such, but all these changes feel natural and intuative. One thing I do hate though is how you manage houses/neighbourhoods. You can no longer move into an empty plot of land initially/demolish the house(I can't find an option anyhoo) and you can only create one household per neighbourhood. There's sites telling you otherwise, but trust me I've looked through quite a few, tried their methods and they don't work. I assume this is because the neighbourhood works in real time. That is when you are controlling one household, time still moves for other households in the neighbourhood and they go through their lives, so if you had multiple households other created sims would go about their lives with no input from you. So it wouldn't be great for a few reasons, children in other households could transition into the next stage for example. But whilst there'd be problems with being able to create multiple household in one neighbourhood I'd still prefer to have the option, or at least edit pre existing households, as you can't do that either. Also when starting out you have no choice in where to move to. I get you're just starting out, but having multiple cheap properties(again like in sims 2) would've been nice. I've tried having bigger and smaller households, but no matter what you can only afford one property when first starting off.So in summary this is a really good game, and despite my couple of complaints(the main one being limited to one household per neighbourhood) I still believe this is the best sims game to date(not played sims 4). Especially as there are multiple little new things that add to the experience that I simply can't being to talk about here, lest this review get any longer, but things like being able to move the mailbox, new actions available, community locations etc.

Buenisimo juego

I Love It
This game is nice to play when you would like to relax. I see a lot of complaining about the game taking too long to save and that has never happened to me, it saves within 30 seconds or less for me, and never freezes. I was afraid to buy this game because of reoccurring complaints but I'm glad I took the risk because this game is very enjoyable for me. Sometimes you have to take risks and not always listen to the reviews. Maybe some people have bad luck?? Who knows. I suppose my luck was good because everything has been lovely.
