Can't believe I am reviewing a cable but I have been having an awful time for years trying to transfer photos from my phone to my laptop using rubbish usb c to usb a cables. I had to do it in batches of like 10 at a time or I would get error messages. I thought all cables were the same. I was wrong! Just transferred 1000 pics and vids in one go and super fast. As usual from Anker, the quality of the cable is incredible and the cable hadn't shown a single sign of wear.It does exactly what it is advertised to do and does that well.The charging cabailities being limited to 60w may limit this cables use for high power devices, but all I need it to charge at most is a phone.If I ever have another garbage type c cable fail, I'm replacing it with one of these.

Does a good job when it works - only intermittently works the first time it is plugged in, sometimes need to unplug and replug for charging to begin, on iPad Pro 3rd gen

Lots of people try to charge their EOS R's LP-E6N battery through the USB C port and fail. One of the reasons is that they are not using the correct USB-C cable. This one is a good substitute for the cable that comes with the Canon EOS R and functions correctly.

Got this today and normally I don't write a review until at least after 6 months of use but thought I would give this 3.1 cable a mention early because I have a 5 year old laptop that I use to transfer files from onto an SSD portable hard drive and due to the limitations of the ports on an old laptop, the fastest consistent speeds I was getting with any of my current leads was 40 Mbps, which meant a 40gb file would take 20 minutes to transfer. Using this Anker lead, I'm now getting 120 Mbps so the speed has tripled just by virtue of using this cable.......... can't argue with that and will update this review in future if necessary.

Very sturdy, it seems made to last and withstand intensive use. Connectors give that pleasant feeling of perfect contact when you plug them in. Not at all similar to the flimsy cable that came with my device. Works well with 45W fast charger. Does not heat at all and ensures great charging performance. I am very pleased.

I saw some issue with the cable 1 year 3 months after I bought it. And the Anker customer service just replaced. As promised the 'life time warranty' does not seem to be a myth.The old cable did work very well until then. And the new one is doing a fine job.So good job Anker.

Using it with SanDisk Extreme 900 1.92 TB Portable Solid State Drive SSD on MBP 2017 and couldn't be happier – love the soft flexibility of the cable, general feel and quality of it. Plugs and sits in the ports neatly, gives full 3.1 speeds.
