EVERDRIVE N8

I’ve been using this to test the NES homebrew game I’m making, and it works great! For anyone who is looking to do the same, I can confirm that you can play NES Maker games with this

Having owned an Everdrive N8 Pro for 2 years, I was looking to pick up another "flash cart" to use with my other NES system. Since one of my systems is a RetroUSB AVS, I decided to give the RetroUSB Powerpak a try. For the most part it works pretty well, but pales in comparison to the Everdrive in many ways, but is a much older product to begin with. I decided to go for another Everdrive brand cart for the NES. I didn't need another pro model, so I went with the original N8. Even though the N8 does not have all the bells and whistles of the pro model, it's still a great cart and is half the price of the pro model. I don't think these are still in production, so I recommend snatching one up if you get the chance.

I got this and it never worked for me out of the box. Not once, broken when I got it. Never bothered to return it. Avoid it.

At first, I had a bit of trouble with getting the cartridge to work. This is because this is a reproduction/clone of the Everdrive N8 (which has been discontinued by the original manufacturer and is replaced with the “PRO” series).The firmware that came pre-loaded on the cartridge should not be tampered with. It lives on a folder named “EDFC” (short for Everdrive Famicom, which Famicom is the Japanese variant of the NES). Everything else is fair game, however. DO NOT DELETE THE EDFC FOLDER!

Last of the greats, get it while you can. Works fantastic after getting my 2gb Sandisk loaded up. Had to google instructions but found them easily.

Does not include a SD card , about the price it should include at least 2gbs … considering that all catalog is around 2gbsIf the sd card is not included the firmware (the system) it does not include as well … yes I Know that description says no include bit it should for the price16 buttons ? Which buttons ?Out of that , it worksIf you want to save ANY game … Pro version is required , this everdrive just save the games who have “save and continue “ and “save and exit” on the own menu

This item is indeed an authentic Krikzz Everdrive N8. I was hesitant to purchase as there are plenty of fakes out there.However, I was pleased to see that this is an actual Krikzz product.The Everdrive N8 has now been discontinued on the Krikzz website, which is a shame as it will meet many games' needs, at a MUCH more reasonable cost.If you are in search of an original N8, look no further.

The cartridge works exactly as you'd expect and is nice to have all the games in one spot. Having the option to control the Reset function to reset the game or the Cart is nice to have. I loaded up a collection of ROMs and was up and running within minutes. Menus are fast and very intuitive.Highly recommend
