AMAZING, stress levels this xmas were down by 85%, this baby really did just change the whole feel of xmas, me and my wife have 7no adults, 3no 3yr olds,1no 6yr old and a 1no 1yr old, last year went well but didnt we work hard, trying to keep everything warm and because for alot of people the dinner is the all and the be all, we like to get it perfect but never can, somthing always gets forgotten or things just get cold. this year was amazing, wife was able to start cooking when she wanted too at her own pase, it gave me more time to get on with other important things, like playing with all my kids new cool toys. when our families arrived they couldnt believe it was all done and all they had to do was sit down and have a drink. looking forward to using it again when ever we entertain again.

I have been delighted with my own hostess trolley for over 30 years so decided to give one to my Daughter and Son-in-Law in time for Christmas. This design is better than mine as it has the bottom half completely enclosed and heated with a shelf in the middle giving a lot of room for extra food dishes to be kept warm. There are three large Pyrex style dishes with lids in the top area which are covered by 2 sliding covers which move outwards to each side of the trolley. The trolley is on 4 good quality castors for ease of movement and can be plugged into any normal 3 pin electrical socket. Food can be kept hot for at least 2 hours without causing it to dry out and is a very useful item for any cook. The design is simple but very efficient and the trolley has been used and appreciated many times now. I would highly recommend this Hostess trolley.

I have purchased this for my sisters wedding anniversary. I have exactly the same and it's brilliant. It keeps everything hot for hours without cooking and keeps vegetables on the top hot, meat hot and moist, keeps plates hot. It's lower compartment has a lot of room. It's ideal for Xmas or dinner parties. When the family come round you can cook and put it all in the hostess, then relax and have a drink with the family without rushing. Then get the family at the table, open up the top for veg and potatoes, open the cupboard for your meat and gravey and serve, it's all piping hot. It doesn't keep cooking and nothing is spoiled, I have had a meal prepared and kept in their for over an hour and its been fantastic. The quality of the hostess is excellent and blends in well with dark wood furniture. I've had mine for 6 years and works well and still looks like new. I would without doubt recommend this for entertaining.

I've wanted one of these for years mainly for Christmas and Easter family lunches, I was sick of having my dinner last and it always being cold, after reading reviews and asking a couple of friends who owned them for their input I bought it for Christmas 2017, excellent!! holds so much food it's amazing, keeps it hot and fresh, my husband uses it on the rare occasions usually if I'm working he'll cook dinner and shove it in there and get on with his day, it's easy to clean, wipe over with a damp cloth ect, the Pyrex dishes are handy, however the sliding covers on top and how far they open do make it a little tricky to remove the lids on the outer 2 dishes if you want to serve from the trolley, not enough of an issue to mark it down

The two sliding top sections do not open fully which makes it awkward to remove the two side dishes as they remain partly covered. Seems to be not as tall as my old trolley. Casserole pots with tall handles on the lids do not fit on the bottom shelf without inverting the lid.

A real boon when family meals for eight or more people are planned.I would guess that it is quite heavy on the electricity consumption, as it needs warming up from about half hour before one plans to use it, but we used it on Christmas Day for the first time and were very pleased to have it.

The item was a gift and the recipients are delighted with it but have yet to use it. It arrived early by 2 days which was good. I would recommend this item to anyone as I have had one for over 20 years and it is brilliant for dinner parties and other occasions when serving hot food.

If you only use this once a year, for the next 10 years (it will last!) then it's worth buying. Takes all the stress out of keeping a big meal hot for a lot of people.
