Has a double sided layers of plastic to stop roll from adhering to itself- works great but takes a bit of time to remove because the plastic is very thin-easy to tear. Products with single layer of paper are a little easier. Only makes a difference if you are using this stuff all day otherwise all good.It adheres with a heat torch and I would say best option compared to - -stix which are difficult to work with and expensive- Having used both, they weather about the same and expect 2 years minimum maybe 4-5 in hot Florida

Does a great job as it s intended use but helps if you heat it with a torch after you install it. The backing cover was difficult to remove.

Was pleased with the product when I put it down and was excited how much easier this is than using the liquid stuff in the bottle. But now that winter has passed, most all of the tape has now split where the cracks are. And these cracks are only like 1/16"....not real wide stuff. Would have really thought it would not have split like that. Disappointed.

I had relatively small cracks in my driveway, and I always used the liquid crack filler from Home Depot. Though that filler worked fine initially, when the weather got cold, the material shrunk and the crack opened again. With this asphalt tape, that is not the case and is holding well.

This product in not good for areas that freeze like Wisconsin or surrounding states. All of the hundreds of feet I installed have a crack down the middle. Complete failure of the product.

Would be a good product if the rolls were not stuck together, and to the box. If you get a box where they are stuck to each other, and to the box, send it back, it is almost impossible to unroll. I gave up, and ran to menards for pourable crack filler. Now have 2 rolls of rolled tar stuck together.
