LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (Xbox 360)

“Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes” is a Lego action-adventure videogame that serves as a sequel to “Lego Batman: The Videogame”. This game offers an open-world environment, in which players can explore Gotham City. There are 70 playable characters to choose from (you unlock them as you proceed) – and you can select from a wide range of superheroes and villains, from Superman, the Flash, and Wonder Woman to Joker, Penguin and Lex Luthor. For the first time in a Lego videogame, there is dialogue. And, unlike the first game, you can opt for 2-player cooperative play.The story concerns Lex Luthor breaking the Joker out of Arkham Asylum, who quickly releases all of the other villains. So Batman and Robin are in hot pursuit … but, finding themselves in a tricky situation, Superman arrives to help out the Dynamic Duo! Luthor heads off to Metropolis to cause havoc, and – using kryptonite – weakens Superman. So the Justice League are called in, and there’s a big show down between the heroes and villains.This is a really fun game – although in no way serious or complex. Yet it is well made, and the quality of the graphics, game-play, and music is fantastic. It’s a game that can be enjoyed by children and adults. You don’t need to have played the first game in order to understand this one – but if you played the first and liked it, I think you’ll be impressed at how this instalment is an all-round improvement.

I bought this for a six year old and, I am proud to say, also ended up playing it and enjoying it myself.It was partly the humour that roped me in and especially the Batman v Superman theme theme - Batman's jealousy of Superman and his irritation at Robin's admiration of Superman is beautifully written and very funny.The gameplay mechanics are also great and there's possibly, I think, more level variety in this Lego game than in most other Lego games. The "Juggernaut" level for example features an animated large lorry (juggernaut) which you have to chase and climb on before completing a set of moving juggernaut roof top missions. The attention to detail in the graphics, animation and lighting suggests that a lot of effort has been put in to the level design beyond reliance on pre-rendered backdrops.The puzzles are logical and well designed and with a bit of head scratching and support even a six year old can solve them (although I was stuck on some of the puzzles and needed the help of the six year old).A really fun and well designed game and one of the best Lego games.

I've played nearly all the Lego videogames on xbox and absolutely love them! I can't believe how far the games have come in terms of the area outside the levels. Gotham city is huge and there's so much to do- miles better than the college in Indiana Jones or the bar in Star Wars!This game definitely does not disappoint, if you're a fan of the lego games then you will love it. The levels are interesting, the character abilities are really clever and the video clips are hilarious. There are the usual annoyances that come with lego games- trying to get Superman to fly where you want him to is frustrating as hell, there are the occasional glitches which mean you have to restart levels- but overall this game has very few faults.I found the game to be not particularly difficult (compared to lego marvel!) which makes it better for kids but at times I feel it could have benefited from a bit more of a challenge. For example, when you're defeating the boss villains scattered around the city it's just a few hits, win, move onto the next one. Some aspects of the levels are quite repetitive and it would have been better if they mixed it up a bit. Same story in the city when you are saving citizens and finding gold bricks as they're all hidden in the same places.Overall, loved the game, totally addictive and I still had to complete to 100%- but loses a star because it's a bit easy and repetitive. Not as good as Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings!

I am a huge Batman fan, and a massive Lego fan. This game, like the rest of the series of Lego games, is great fun.With an original story, cheeky humour and decent graphics, this game is great fun to play alone or with family.I play it with my 9 year old son, and we love playing different characters and flying round the city.If there is one thing that is distracting in the game, as with all the lego games, is the camera and controls can be awkward. For example, if running around, you use the left stick for moving and direction and the right stick for moving the camera. But once you start to fly (as superman or in a plane) the right stick no longer moves the camera, you have to turn using the left stick. This inconsistency can be quite distracting. It's also a shame you can't change the controls in the settings.Other than that small, admittedly personal, distraction, the game is great fun. And the fact that the characters talk isn't distracting, in fact it adds to the game.

Kept my son entertained for hours

My son was so happy when this arrived on the expected day and didn't move from the xbox all day (it was a wet day). It is worth the money and the quality of the game is excellent as always with the Lego games. The only down side is now I cant get to watch TV because either my son or my husband is playing this!!

Quite simply this is one of the best games I've ever played.Good solid story line and even better free play with side missions and a whole host of unlockable characters from the DC Universe.This will keep you amused for hours regardless of your age, gender, or even whether you're 'a gamer' or not (for the record, I'm not!).Great game. Enjoy.....

Spedizione veloce e pacco intatto, solita precisione di amazon. Il gioco, nonostante abbai comprato la versione inglese per risparmiare una decina di euro, è completamente in italiano, solo il doppiaggio, ovviamente, è in inglese, ma ben sottotitolato in italiano. Una gradita sorpresa! Il gameplay è il solito dei giochi lego, si sa cosa aspettarsi, mentre graficamente, a mio avviso, è molto bello. Le musiche ti fanno entrare nella classica atmosfera di batman e tutto l'insieme di queste cose fanno del gioco un videogame imperdibile per gli amanti di batman e dei lego. Consigliatissimo
