Italeri 510001374 S.E.5 a and Albatros D. III 1: 72 WWI Aviation

My wife bought me this kit not knowing anything about models. I've made italeri kits before and they make some interesting kits. On this kit the albatross and se5 are faithful in scale and detail, there is a little flash on a couple of parts but nothing that isn't removed easily. A great kit I highly recommend it for the beginner or serious modeler that can add even more detail to these iconic aircraft. Brilliant !PS I am the wife and would like to point out I am not a nerd

I wanted to try a box from another company rather than the usual suspects :), plus I was looking for small WW1 planes. As a result, and in all honesty I was attracted to this by the box. As I understand this is a reboxing of older molds so there is some flash on the small pieces. (wheels, wheel struts, wing struts). To avoid cursing or throwing of an item on the wall know that the wheel struts do not stand in place with regular glue so I superglued them. Same thing i did with the inner wing struts. Glued them to the wings in an angle and then supeglued them on the planes. Expect a bit of frustration trying to keep the wings of the albatros in place. Do not be put off by these comments since as with the case of many molds a bit of frustration is expected but the end result is great. Decals are fantastic and you are given 4 variations. In other words you will end up with some extra decals to keep as back-up. Pilots are not included and if you decide to do the rigging look on the internet since no info is available with the included directions.

Bought as a present, recipient really liked it but we are no experts!

Two good kits , some flash , have not started them yet , looking forward to starting them .

Old kits with not much detail and a lot of flash, I dont think it's worth the price paid. They need to retool this to make it worth the price.

Obviously a rebox of two kits produced from very old moulds.Lots of flash on both kits and a few misformed pieces, though SE5a was a little better.Couldn't recommend this set as there are much better kits available for the same cost.

Con un poco de rebabas pero con rasparlas un poco quedan bien. La cabina es un asiento limpio y sin tablero, el S.E. 5a viene con una ametralladora. Poco más de 20 piezas y dos juegos de pegatinas por cada maqueta. Como maquetas de iniciación están muy bienHe puesto una maqueta de un Me 262 a escala 1/72 al lado para comparar los tamaños

Ottimo prodtto e buono il prezzo. I pezzi sullo sprue sono "abbastanza" accurati. Hanno bisogno di un po' di limatura, ma c'è di peggio. La scatola risulta leggermente "pizzicata" ma visto che li devo assemblare non è un problema. Ottimo acquisto.

Von diesen Doppelsets dürfte es gerne mehr geben, zwei hübsche Flieger zum Preis von, naja, anderthalb oder so.Diese beiden Modelle sind wahrscheinlich nicht gerade der Geheimtip für Sammler, über historische Genauigkeit kann ich nicht viel sagen, aber die Details würde ich eher als "schlicht" bezeichnen. Wo Roden einem schon die letzten Nerven beim Zusammenbau des Cockpits raubt und Revell bei den einfachen Modellen zumindest den Mangel an Details mit einer Pilotenfigur versteckt ist bei diesen beiden halt nix... also außer einen Loch mit 'nem Treppchen. Ist vielleicht doch eher die Richtung "Spielzeug" als Modell was das angeht, zumindest ein Aufkleberchen mit Cockpitamaturen und einen Steuerknüppel hätte ich mir hier gewünscht.Ansonsten sind die beiden aber nette, einsteigerfreundliche Modelle, die nach dem Zusammenbau hübsch aussehen, also nett für Zwischendrin und relativ stressfrei, wenn man sich mal von den komplizierteren Konkurrenten erholen muss.

Por ese precio no se puede pedir más. Perfectamente embalado y entregado en la fecha prevista. Sencillo de montar y muy entretenido.
